FALKLAND BECOMES A HAUNTED TOWN

A small community nestled between and is about to be turned into a Haunted Halloween town for a couple of weekends.

Dean Tremblay, owner of Thunder Boyz Productions Inc. is going all out this year to make up for the past couple of years due to the pandemic. Major events are happening all over Falkland including the marquee event the Haunted Hall. All done with professional sets and actors stuff that you would typically see in a theatre production.

The Falkland Historical Society hosts the Haunted Museum made up of six or seven activities. Last year it was very popular so make sure to come early because longer lineups are expected.

“We’re expecting 3,000-4,000 people this year and with no pandemic restrictions,” said Trembley.

This year it’s designed to be an all day event for families to enjoy and a lot of additions have been added to make it extra special.

Anyone who is in a financial crisis won’t have to worry about costs or donations. “We don’t want to turn anyone away that is on a low income,” said Trumbley.

Anytime after 3 pm is when scariness happens.

Anyone who would like to volunteer can and the more helpers we have the merrier, then we clean up faster. An appreciation night for all the people who helped with this massive event sometime in November thanks to Dean and to show appreciation to say “Thank you” for helping with the biggest Halloween event in the . Inaugural meeting, come out and volunteer for this amazing event, it is going to be bigger and better than 2020 and 2021. We are looking for all kinds of volunteers to do: set design/building, sponsorship program, costume design, props, advertising, grant writing, business participation program, vendor participation, events, etc.
The proceeds of this event supports (5) five Falkland on-profits and we are looking at expanding to more. This is a ton of fun and we would love to see even more volunteers than last year.
