🏀 We had the best time at the pre-season @vancouverbandits game at @langleyevents . The kiddo loved cheering on BC’s top players, like NBA pro Tazé Moore and local stars James Karnik and Diego Maffia. We even got to high-five the mascot, Berry!
🙌 And let’s not forget the yummy food we got to sample off the Langley Events Centre menu. Even the foodies approved!

I am not being an over dramatic influencer here… I mean this genuinely… this was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had!
Our family got the amazing opportunity to check out @princeofwhaleswhalewatching on our holiday to Victoria, BC and it was truly unforgettable.
At first, I was concerned about the age of our kiddo, as she is only four years old, but the staff assured us when we booked that this would be a family-friendly trip… And that it was!
The staff and crew were so accommodating to all the kids on board. Several times I noticed the crew coming over to check on the kids to make sure they weren’t seasick or getting too much heat in the sun. They also provided coloring books, and complementary hot chocolate to the kiddos (I got hot chocolate too even though I’m not exactly a kid).
Okay, enough about the kids, LET’S TALK ABOUT THE WHALES!
I took personal responsibility for all the good orca juju we had on the boat, because we saw six different pods of orca whales while we were on the water and I was GEEKING OUT about it. When the whales were diving, the crew would share interesting facts about orca whales, and I honestly couldn’t get enough! It was so interesting learning from them (shout out to our Naturalist Algebra who was probably one of the most fascinating people I’ve met in a while); I feel like my whale knowledge is far superior to the average Joe on the street now.
One of the things we learned that I thought was so interesting was that 40% of the population will never see the ocean! It made me even more grateful for this experience where we got to get so up close and personal with the magic of the ocean

This was our first time visiting the Langley location and it definitely didn’t disappoint!
We started off with some delicious mocktails before chowing down on a brunch charcuterie board (the kiddos loved the French toast sticks especially). I had the Yorkshire Benny with bacon (I added avocado) and it was absolutely delicious (great hollandaise which as any Benny lover knows, is monumentally important).
The kids menu was awesome; the kiddo had the pancake tacos (but deconstructed because she’s my child and didn’t want her strawberries and whipped cream touching her pancakes).
The service was incredible and they accommodated to the kid’s many demands very hospitably.
We also had the Strawberry Loving Waffle for dessert, because yes, brunch needs dessert!

I had so much fun with my mama friends as we visited @wildplaymapleridge . The Lower Mainland’s Ultimate Adventure definitely didn’t disappoint; and was a much more exciting option to our regular old coffee dates.
From zip lines, to cargo nets, to wobbly log bridges, we got to play like kids again as we worked our way through the obstacle course.
And seriously, AXE THROWING! Who knew this was such a therapeutic experience?! The Mother’s Day activity you never knew you needed.
