29th annual Alcuin Society Awards for Excellence in Book Design in Canada will be hosted by, and take place at, the Emily Carr University of Art + Design, this coming Wednesday, October 12th.

The Guest Speaker for the evening will be John Gall, Vice-President and Art Director at Vintage and Anchor Books (New York). He is also an instructor at the School of Visual Arts, and the author of Sayonara Home Run! The Art of the Japanese Baseball Card.
