Xiaomi 12S Ultra Smartphone Camera – Is it a game changer?
This phone’s camera that has all the powerful tech that last year had to offer crammed into one amazing phone. But does its camera beat the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra?
From first site, it’s already impressive with its leather-like matte finish that mimics the surface of a professional camera.
The other most notable thing is its ability to properly use detachable lenses, like a mirror-less or DSLR camera.
Its 1-inch sensor, combined with high-end image processing, makes this phone something to certainly pay attention to. Whether with photo or video, the Xiaomi seems to beat the Samsung with its ability to capture natural detail without having to digitally enhance it.
It isn’t a perfect camera, though. At first glance, Xiaomi’s colours are richer and more natural without being artificially enhanced. And, if you keep the camera still, those wonderfully balanced colours remain. But as you move the camera closer to the subject, it changes its colour grade, even while recording video.
So, has Samsung been dethroned by the Xiaomi 12S Ultra? In my opinion, not quite yet. While Xiaomi has some wicked cool features and it beats Samsung with capturing details, colour matters and Samsung still has that in the bag.
