🌊REPOST🌊 • As the seasons change we gotta adapt with it. In fact that is how humanity has survived… adaptation.

Our local put out the Bat Signal from the local group chat and showed up at Penzer PumpTrack to show us the skill level of skating switch(that’s backwards for those that don’t know)

We made our rounds and as the sun dropped..so did the temperature.

So stoked to juts get out there and roll around.

This is my first real run at a Pump Track with hopes to put more time into it as things progress.

Always a blast inside the shop @5.0skateboards and today was no different - Man like hitting his first ever 5050 on a YOW surfskate which was wiiiiiiicked to see and he was clearly stoked! Big up dude! And Theo the man with the plan slapping 50’s like it ain’t no thang - that is until some dingus got in his way 😂😂😂🫠🫠🫠🔥🔥🔥

Lovely week and it ain’t even done yet. Gratitude is easy. Very not Dec weather this year is a bonus when I’m back on the skateboard. Clovy today was great and Endless Summer Sundays was a blast! Looking forward to this Sunday coming up, 6-8pm inside the 🤙🏄‍♂️🌊

🌊REPOST🌊 • So here we have some excess footage while setting up and warm ups before the Marshmallow Toast and SKATE Jam last Saturday

It was an absolute blast to hit up a Jam where there were no expectations other than to be yourself.

summed things up near the end with ‘simply just showing up for yourself is what makes you a winner’. He went further to describe having met some new people with a similar interest and a passion and love for skateboarding to be one of the best ‘take aways’ one could ask for.

For me…. I am forever grateful for the skate community. It’s easy to want to give back to a culture that has given so much without expectation.

**as it goes sometimes in any sport or physical activity there is always a potential Risk. A mishap at the end of the evening when things were nearly shut down occurred. One of our local Surf Skaters caught an edge on a seemingly simple maneuver and found himself needing an ambulance. Needless to say it’s part of the process. We are all glad it wasn’t worse. Wishing for a speedy recovery.

🌊REPOST🌊 • What up good people!? Been a minute since I’ve put something out. (Been a bit under the weather recently) Also been meaning to get a specific THANK YOU out to ya’ll.

Last Saturday on Nov 23 alongside @5.0skateboards hosted a Marshmellow Toast and (skate)Jam.

I’d like to send a special thanks to the voice of the day for bringing that Old School Vibe that we all love. That, along with the support from beatboxing for an amazing HipHop set.

Our friends from brought us some beverages.

made us a meal of chilli, cupcakes and cornbread.

S’more Galore

It was such a rad mix of friends, family, music and connection all around.

Our local rounded up our . A category was made and won a custom board.

took home a best line with 9 solid tricks in a row.

held the longest 5-0

and rocked out on a doubles session

🌊REPOST🌊 • Despite the dramatic change in weather and temperatures we got to experience an ‘Endless Summer’ vibe today at a local spot. Rolling on the concrete waves undisturbed this afternoon.

Ya need something to do on these sunny days? Well check this out. and I decided to take up Surf Skating.

At first glance it seems simple enough. This would be classified as my first official day making an effort to practice.

Rumour has it this is much like surfing with the deep turns and slides. Having surfed before I can definitely see a similarity aside from the much less forgiving parking lot surface.

It took a few runs to get to a place of slowing down at high speeds and also how to get a low and flow vibe.

For those of us that have our old injuries catching up to us… I can tell you surf skating is a great alternative. Much lower impact while providing a new challenge to dig deep.

We must’ve been on this session for nearly 3 hours and was still wanting to keep going. I can tell ya ..I haven’t had that feeling in a long while. Flowstate may best describe that as time seems to be irrelevant.

We are all vibration. Music, sun and surf/skate are a definite meditation. Absolute focus and mindfulness.

I wish I could bottle this up and just share it with you all. However, it’s just one of those things ya just gotta do to understand. We hope to inspire more to join on this journey.
