Leilanie and Michael’s love story began in 1987, when they were high school sweet hearts. Michael proposed eleven years later, but just days after she said yes, he received a diagnosis, multiple sclerosis (MS). Now, with three children, Leilanie is a full-time caregiver to Michael. They share moments of their lives on social media, lavishedingrace. The couple is also working with film actor and MS advocate, Matt Embry, on a documentary about Michael’s journey.
