I spent my first day checking out Bangkok’s oldest and largest temple complex (which is home to a gigantic Reclining Buddha) followed by a solar powered boat ride through the canals (which date back to when the city was founded). 🛕⚓️

This is 47.
Today I’m somehow another year older and I have no idea where the time went, but I’m grateful for the amazing journey I’ve had so far. I’m also grateful for the fact that people usually think I’m at least a decade younger than I actually am!
I feel like I’ve never felt better, looked better, or lived better than in this part of my life and I love that everything I’ve worked so hard for over the years is paying off in so many different ways. I’m also thankful for all the people who helped me along the way and I feel really fortunate to have had so many great friends and family.
I’m also thankful for YOU! I’m sure you can tell I spend a lot of time putting content on this app and that’s brought me a lot of really cool opportunities. If you didn’t like/save/share/comment on my stuff I wouldn’t get to keep making the content about those opportunities which have been a major contributor to this being such an incredible time in my life.
So here’s to another 47 (!!) and to remembering that the best is probably yet to come - so do what makes you happy, ignore the detractors, love yourself as much as you love others, and never settle for anything less than what you deserve!
But remember, if anyone asks, I’m 29.

This is the capital of Colombia’s mountainous Antioquia province and people call it the “City of Eternal Spring” because of its consistently temperate weather. 🌤️

I also spent some time at the Museo Casa de la Memoria to learn about this area’s troubled history and how far it’s come in recent years. This city has been a really interesting, beautiful and fun place to visit!
I love that we have beaches at home in Vancouver, but I almost never go into the water. Here at this beach on Tierra Bomba Island (a short boat ride from Cartagena) I don’t ever want to get out!
I’m in Colombia! 🇨🇴
It’s my first time in South America and I started with a visit to Cartagena, a port city on the Caribbean coast in the northern part of the country.
The city’s historic centre has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it’s a beautiful area to walk around, surrounded by 11 kilometers of ancient walls that have been there for over 400 years.

I found this rainbow log in a cute New Jersey town and couldn’t figure out how to best pose with it... as you can clearly see in the pic I ended up with. But my arm looks great so I’m posting it anyway cuz let’s be honest, that’s what really counts. 💪😆🌈🪵
Happy Pride Washington DC! 🏳️🌈 I took a train from Philly to DC to spend some time in the American capital where I saw a bunch of monuments, memorials, and rainbows. I hope to be back again this time next year for World Pride! 🌎
Welcome to Lancaster, PA! This city is absolutely adorable. There are so many cute stores to check out, the oldest farmers market in the US, some beautiful architecture, a bunch of great restaurants, and such friendly people! 🥰

MaryinVancity and I hopped over to Philly to celebrate Pride in Pennsylvania’s largest city. There was a big Pride March, lots of Mom hugs, a ton of vendor booths with all kinds of cool stuff, a 400 foot long rainbow Pride flag, and a variety of sp*eches/performances from people in the community - like Drag Race finalist Sapphira Cristal! 👸🏿
We had such a fun day checking it all out and appreciated hearing all the empashioned sp*eches by some of the notable locals in the community. This Pride definitely felt like a mix of both celebration and protest, with many reminders of how easily things could go backwards if the wrong people get too much power. A good reminder how we have the power with how we vote to help keep moving things forward in a positive direction! 🙌
I’m in Seattle! It only took an hour to fly here from Vancouver so I could check out some awesome LGBTQ-owned small businesses and witness almost 80 LGBTQ couples renew their vows on a “Love For All” boat. 🛥️🏳️🌈💞
I’ll have reels of both of those soon, but in the meantime I’m headed to Pike Place Market (finding some more LGBTQ businesses), a ceramic studio (operated by queer/trans/female artists), a couple wine bars (LGBTQ-owned), and a cabaret burlesque musical (pretty self explanatory how gay that is). 😄

You know I’m always going to stand up for my community! Or sit on a rainbow staircase and talk about it online. Same diff. 😜
Today is IDAHOBIT (the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia & Transphobia) and in a world where you can be anything, why not just be kind? I’ve seen a pretty unsettling increase in those phobias lately, but of course they’re really a lot more rooted in bigotry, prejudice, misinformation and hate than any type of fear. At the end of the day, people should be allowed to be their authentic selves and live their own lives in whatever way that feels true to them. 🌈
Did you know that there are still 64 countries with laws that criminalize the LGBTQ community? Just last month Uganda’s court upheld their Anti-Homos*xuality Act which includes life imprisonment for homos*xuality and the death penalty if someone gay is HIV+ and has s*x. 🇺🇬
We need to keep moving forward for 2SLGBTQ+ rights and safety, both here and abroad. People should be able to express who they are online and wherever they live without the fear of hate or violence looming over their decision to just openly be themselves. 🏳️🌈
Last night I got to be the host at a special advanced screening of the new Amy Winehouse biopic! 🎤
Back To Black explores many layers of this iconic artist and the tumultuous love story at the center of one of the most legendary albums of all time. 🎶
The movie comes out in theatres this Friday, May 17th and I recommend it no matter what level of fan you are! 🍿

Bonjour gay paree! 🇫🇷 I’m in France for the OUTbound Travel LGBTQ Cruises and we spent the first day in Paris. During the morning on a bus tour with all the passengers, and in the afternoon walking around with my bestie MaryinVancity. This place is of course amazing - je l'aime beaucoup! 🥰
I figured it would be a cute idea to bring a couple bottles of hairspray to the Broadway Across Canada opening night of Hairspray in Vancouver and get my buddies Scott & Dylan to spray my hair in front of the poster. 😆 It made for a fun photo, but then my hair felt like a helmet throughout the show and the smell lingered for a while… so my apologies to everyone else who wanted a photo at that spot afterwards. I hope it simply added to the authenticity of the experience! 😅
And by the way, the show was phenomenal - highly recommended by me and both of my hair assistants. 👍

It's so cool to be getting media attention like this lately, both locally and now internationally! Maybe some hot German guy will read this one and want to whisk me away to his European castle…. I should probably start packing my bags, just in case. 💘
One last post from Arizona! 🌵 I'm lucky to get to travel as much as I do, but spending time on vacation with family is the best. Especially when we can all be together somewhere that’s warm and sunny! 👨👩👦👦🐕☀️

I'm visiting my parents in AZ and there's a pool in the complex where they stay... I realized I forgot my bathing suit at their place and I didn't want to walk back to it so I just did what I had to do. 😅
Luckily there wasn't anyone else using the pool... it's only like 20°C here right now, so too cold for the locals. lol

It sure is nice to get recognition like this... there are so many ups and downs to putting yourself on the Internet and making content that flops just as much as (or more than) it succeeds, so I'll take this moment to pat myself on the back cuz last month was my 17 year anniversary of starting my YouTube channel and it's been quite the journey of wins and losses since then. Thanks for coming along for the ride, whether you've been following along for a few days or a few years! 🫶
