✨ first post as 2 years old 🐱

willow is basically the same age as me in human years now 😅 … she even had another growth spurt right before her birthday and weighs 11-11.5lbs😵‍💫!

Since she’s a big girl now, we got her a big girl cat tree to celebrate 🎂🎉

Ofc she also spent the whole day playing with mom & dad, eating treatos + cake, and her favourite thing: getting brushed 🫢

✨first time✨ exploring the backyard patio/gazebo ☀️

This is the first time she’s been allowed to walk outside since her surgery 🥹 & finally warm enough outside for her … she did AMAZZZINGGG & we’re so proud of her!

swipe to snooze 💤 🥹

As we’re busy packing to move to our new home (660 miles away) 🏡, willow has been resting well in her new bed and enjoying her new leg 🥹!

We’ve packed most of her things away 😅 but we’re super happy to have this little bed with us !

🎃 purr-o-lantern szn 🐱

🥧 it’s that time of the year where pumpkin spice takes over the world 🙈… obviously we had to share some leftover pumpkin pie with willow 👀🤫

Our Cat friendly “pumpkin pie”:
- don’t go bacon your heart (as the “pie crust”
- lil bit of homemade pumpkin purée (no salt or seasoning)
- homemade whip cream, no sugar/vanilla (1tsp)

We didn’t get any photos unfortunately because willow knocked it on the floor 🥲 but… she gave me her paw of approval after 😅

🧸 intermediate-advanced enrichment ✨

Tbh we were a little skeptical of this one BUT….the GUU snuffle mushroom has become one of our FAVE snuffle toys 😍

• the shape makes it a bit more “advanced” but can be picked up, tossed, pawed, rolled & licked 🔥
• we can use powdered silvervine/catnip without as much of a ✨mess✨
• it takes willow double as long to figure out how to get the little treats out ⏱
• it’s lightweight & soft 🧸
• squeeky toy at the stem 🔉
• bonus: it’s super cute 🥹

⚡️Our favourites enrichments:
- powdered silvervine (willow doesn’t like catnip) 🌱
- small honeysuckle pieces 🪵
- freeze dried treats 🤤
- dehydrated treats 😋

This is the first time they’re meeting … not willow purring and meowing the whole time 🥺❤️

Jackson is my 6-8 year old python whom I’ve had for his whole life. He’s the sweetest thing on earth 🐍!

Willow has ALWAYS been super intrigued by Jackson… everytime she hears his cage open, she comes RUNNING from across the house.

Knowing both their temperaments + slow gradual introduction made this experience absolutely wonderful 🤍

Nothing makes me happier than these two 🤍🤎

a lil hidden lookout 🪵 🌲 ✨

everyday, I’m thankful to spend it with my floofy best friend 🐱…

Some days, willow walks very slow 🌲and rather sit and watch the birds 🦢 & bugs fly by 🐞and sometimes, I have to remind myself:
I can always come here by myself, whenever I want, even when I’m 50 … but willow can only explore the places we take her … if she wants to ✨savour✨the moment & make a core memory ☁️, just let her …❤️
