Hello friends, it's been a while!
A few things to update and share with you all.

- We're gearing up the TILTy studios to get back into resin figure production! It's a labour of love sculpting, moulding, and casting these collectibles - and something we've really missed doing, and we're excited to introduce new pieces and new versions of old pieces 😊 Please be patient with us as we rebuild our operations and rethink our processes.

- TILTy Studios is refocusing its efforts on not just making some toys or drawings - but also making them facets of larger goals: be they tabletop game development, video game development, animation, comics, or any other means of sharing our original narratives.

We have big dreams and goals, and aim to get there with the same unique creations you've come to expect - but with more frequency and consistency.

Right now I think I have enough material to make maybe two figures. My hope is to produce a figure and mold each month with the support of patreon I want to explore what would make it possible.

Hi Folks,

Seeking feedback.

I had to take a hiatus from my work since 2010 and my attempt to start again in 2018 was Pandemicked forward to today– now it's 2024 and wanting to get back to campaigning and convention-going while remaining respectful of my convention artist neighbours who may hold opposing views on this topic.

A lot of artists are encouraging others to boycott and unfollow artists who are using any AI tools that aren't Adobe or Microsoft, as well as spreading a lot of misinformation.

For the most part I am making sculptures, 3D worlds, animated narratives, and seeking to get grant funding to employ artists to create works together.

I've been clear about labeling my work and tried to share what I'm doing and my processes, but given the current rhetoric I am asking for guidance about how to label my efforts, materials, and software project details so as to not receive misguided ire.

To make more clear to everyone I am on the Midjourney list of not compensated artists . I don't feel celebrated or note worthy but I am at least of some distinctiveness, like the aesthetic of an atari2600.
I lost most of my work and my two main websites and I'm just out here attempting to rebuild an audience and any sort of income.

I'm attempting to use Midjourney ethically for my own attempt at growth. But as I have been unfollowed and dumped by folks seemingly related to this I would like you to please let folks know, you are still welcome to hate me or unfollow but I would like to be supported for my distinctiveness and the contributions I would like to make and I would feel that it is sufficient to be me. I work insane amounts to prove myself of worth.

At least I made the list. I love you all and thank you again for those that support me and make it possible to be alive.

Thank you for your responses.

Part of my issues is having lost the contents of all of the backup and archival hard drives, and the majority of my moulds and originals to water damage. I am not sure how to build support as I rebuild my life and business. I sort of paused my already broken campaigning while we lost our house in Toronto and I've not been able to talk cleanly while in a state of crisis.
I figured keep calm and carry on was going to work until It didn't.

I need to find a way to support basic needs and software costs so I can at least be eligible to apply for grants. But even in that I have to already be making money and succeeding as a corporation for at least 2 years to be eligible. So I've basically lost my status as eligible to be a business and Im off to finally open the bank account for my new incorporation only to not have a way to make money.

The spiritual and mental coaches I've been listening to or attempting to listen to have basically repeatedly told me to just speak truth to the universe express gratitude and know that no one is coming to save you.

I am grateful to all of you that listen, or witness my life.
I need a clear channel of support ad a way to make a clean income. I feel compromised and accused about my authenticity so I feel doubly the need for a clean line of support to go forward.

I moved to Canada to be a animated film maker and I aspired to open a studio that made games and films I could be proud of. I have to do this. But the last few weeks and months I've felt like Im going to have a heart attack or aneurysm any minute because I've fully lost my mind fighting the good fight.

I was staying away from social media asking others like Cassidy to help find a message that is sharable but embarrassment and inability to know how to deal with the monumental waste of life I am right now is hard for anyone to cope with least of all anyone who HAS to interact with me.

But it is really hard to feel like I have worth. I plan to find a way to post regardless of how sad it is. As no one is coming to save me I at the least have to metabolism the losses if I can pick myself back up and hit it again tomorrow.

I am grateful to all of you that listen, I apologies I am still learning brevity.

I am not succeeding in getting things to come together since before the move we had hit a financial crisis and it's left me emotionally spent and unable to give my audience a reasonable update.
I was and still remain in a financially compromised place and it doesn't look like that is able to change it. As I no longer have relevant work skills and most of my abilities to make a supplemental income have been disappeared and the totally broken state of my Patreon has left me without a feeling of self worth. Ive been begging for help but I have to admit I don't know I will still be in business by next year. If you are angry at me for not delivering on any of my promises I apologies. You deserve at least a refund and a personal apology. But after a lifetime of trying it's clear I am not welcome, my ideas are not special and I can't keep swinging at imaginary opportunities.

I plan to focus the month on attempting to find a way to make it up to my biggest supporters. Sorry again for my lack of communication. This has been a very difficult time for me and I put a lot of strain on those that I exposed to me feelings. For this I am also sorry.

While I appreciate discussions on AI-aided art and acknowledge the potential for misuse, my intentions in exploring my own ideas are genuine. I openly share my exploration and new processes.

From the beginning, I've made it clear that we strive for positive outcomes despite the dystopian reality shaped by human nature. As a third-generation artist, it's crucial for my peers to understand my work and benefit from the systems in their creative journeys.

As a neurodivergent artist, I initially conformed to fit in but later embraced my authentic self. I've experienced the challenges of independent creation and distribution without agency or significant resources. Understanding the systems and tools is essential for visibility and recognition.

Obscurity is the true crime. Art and idea theft exist, including AI's involvement. However, let's focus on controlling and harnessing AI for our creative purposes. A replica created with an artist's approval can aid the creative process, validate intent, and expose imitators.

Individuality is critical amidst the common occurrence of imitation. Unique styles, visions, and compositions guide our work, whether individually or collectively. Clear communication is vital for unity and achieving singular goals, avoiding derivative mediocrity.

Consider these lessons as a student, as I'm no master. My pursuit is to conquer the unknown. If you find value in my experimentation, supporting me would help sustain my existence.

For those of you Interested in knowing more about Process here is a bit of a dive on one of the ways the PostProcess effects can be used to return to the elements of hand crafted back into a 3d project. Authenticity is a reletive thing but projects like and offer up an attemtp to use really complex methods of faxing it to make 3d feel more real and "crafted from real materials" but to achieve a cumulative final look of more than just on or the other. This fusion is built from a non- destructive method similar to the additive method used ion Adobe products take a look:
