Sunday May 19th is my birthday. During the pandemic I worked with a great team of amazing people to put together a series of online events called Funk Raiders featuring the best in the world of funky dj talent. We stopped at number 48 and I am constantly asked when we are gonna get the gang back together. No time like the present!
So I reached out to a lot of my Canadian friends and couple honorary Canadians and was completely humbled when every single one immediately said "LETS GO!!" It had been so long and I had so many doubts this could come together on a long weekend. That said here we are! The love for this music is strong. WE ARE GONNA GET DOWN ALL DAY SUNDAY LET FUNKRAIDERS BE YOUR SOUNDTRACK!

Next Friday, April 19th, we will celebrate another big milestone in style with Funklectic vol. 200 feat. Skratch Bastid, Dunks, DJ Yoda, The Gaff, DJ Spinna, The Nextmen and more We are bringing out some serious big guns including Skratch Bastid DJ Yoda and DJ Cheeba making their Funklectic debuts.

Make It Funky is thrilled to present two of the most influential producers in breakbeat history. Krafty Kuts is a legend who first joined Make It Funky Crew in 2006 at the prestigious Reverb. Since then he has been back multiple times providing incredible dancefloor experiences focused on the most upfront sounds. The Freestylers return to Toronto for the first time since 2014 to bring you their reggae-inspired funky bass in this one-of-a-kind event pairing two absolute masters for an extended b2b set!

We are also happy to announce we have been granted an extended license and will be serving until 4am.
