With even families of average means struggling to keep up with the skyrocketing cost of food at supermarkets these days, families that were already struggling to put food on the table before inflation went haywire are feeling the squeeze like never before in Port Colborne and Wainfleet.
At the Port Cares Reach Out Centre in Port Colborne on Aug. 16, officials with local grain and food production company ADM Milling were on hand to make a donation of $65,000 (about US$50,000) to the agency.
