25) Desireable Dice.
The d12. There needs to be more d12-based games.

26) Superb Screen.
Almost never use them. But if we did, Kult: Divinity Lost has a darn good one.

27) Marvellous Miniatures.
Never use them, sorry. We're 100% theatre of the mind.

22) Notable non-player Character.
Shadowrun's Harlequin comes immediately to mind. Good enough that they have two full campaigns surrounding him.

23) Peerless Player.
We have one player who's been with us for over 30 years. Great character ideas - from the Magical Gun Bunny of Shadowrun, to the incarnation of Eris Discordia, from a talking raven envoy to the teenage werewolf cheerleader.

24) Acclaimed Advice.
If a player makes a character to be the 'best at X' and constantly strives to be so - don't eff them over. Let them be excellent.
#2? There is no need for the Game Master to ever fudge. Let the dice fall where they may.

20) Amazing Adventure.
For that, we go to our game master. He's amazing at setting up his world for us to explore. We think our sister's journey to have her character become a goddess was pretty damn good, and was nail biting to the very end (she succeeded the trials with 1 hp. If she didn't do a full attack, the reaper would have killed her next round). The world building is on-point.

21) Classic Campaign.
We ran a BECM campaign just before 5e came out. Ahh, nostalgia.

16) Quick to Learn.
I'm going with Widdershins (soon to be Keepsakes). It takes almost no time at all to figure it out.

17) An Engaging RPG Community.
For this, I'm going to go with Renegade Studios and their Discord Group. That place is hopping.

18) Memorable Moment of Play.
Spouse has a Half-Orc Barbarian in a gladiator pit. First session. Takes out a centaur, calls out, "Is this the best you've got?"
The Imperatrix sends in a displacer beast. Close fight, but the Half-Orc won. At Level 1.

19) Sensational Session.
We've been playing these games for over 40 years now. There's so many.
Our character's spouse abandons us after they realize they did a horrific act of evil. Our character tries to find them, they die. Our character, an immortal, goes to the highest mountain in the realm, and explosively suicides in grief. It was soul-crushing, but a transformative experience.

14) Compelling Characters.
I'm going to go with Kult: Divinity Lost once again, though Defiant's also up there.

Seriously, the kind of characters you can make in Kult are fascinating and varied, with dark secrets, or mysterious pasts, or driving goals.

15) Great Character Gear.
Shadowrun. Shadowrun's all about the gear. Especially the cyberware, etc. It's got perhaps the best list I've ever seen.

RPG-A-Day 2024

12) RPG with Well-Supported Campaigns.
For this, I'm going with Paizo's Pathfinder. They have entire campaign arc adventures that span multiple modules.

Yeah, been missing the RPG a Day thing. Going to quickly catch up.

RPG A Day 2024
1) First RPG of the Year.
Because of Kickstarter there's no way we could tell you. On a guess, let's say RAVEN - by Shadowlands Games.

2) Most Recent Played.
Rokugan, by Edge Studios (Saturday). Though today we'll be playing 13th Age by Pelgrane Press (Sunday).

3) Most Often Played.
Pathfinder, as our gamemaster runs that pretty much exclusively and has for over 20 years.

4) RPG with Great Art.
For that, let's go with Kult: Divinity Lost by Helmgast Studios.

5) RPG with Great Writing.
Again, we're going to go with Kult: Divinity Lost. The atmosphere's so thick you can cut it with a knife.

6) RPG that is Easy to Use.
Alright, going to go with our game Widdershins by Fool's Moon Entertainment, Inc. The game has very few moving parts, and is quick and easy to assemble and run.

7) RPG with 'Good Form'.
What's that even mean? Um, on a guess? No, sorry, I'm drawing a blank here.

8) An Accessory I Appreciate.
Outgunned by Two Little Mice. It has a pencil. You break the pencil to get a critical and do something awesome when you try to kill someone with it in-game. I'm never breaking that pencil.

9) An Accessory I'd Like to See.
Oh dear. I'm not usually one for accessories, I'm drawing a blank.

10) RPG You'd Like to See on TV.
So many! Shadowrun (Catalyst Games), Kult, Defiant (Game Machinery), Black Void (Modiphius)

11) RPG with Well-Supported One Shots.
I'm going to have to go with Shadowrun. They provide a LOT of one-shots in their supplements, as well as the adventures they write.
