So apparently IG isn’t a photo sharing app anymore and I’ve been out here trying to curate my grid to look like an art gallery 🙄
Not that it really matters since I haven’t posted in months lol
But also, I guess it’s a good thing that I have been focusing on making videos but I just feel that they don’t sit well on my feed. I need to get this idea out of my head I suppose. I guess I should just post consistent video content and forget about how nice my feed looks.
Sheesh. I sound very unsure of myself here. F**k it. Here’s a picture of a sunset 🤷🏻♂️.

This was a cool moment. I saw this couple getting photos and I just had to snap a shot. It was raining and the lighting just created this beautiful image.
I wish I could share this photo with the couple. I'm sure they got amazing photos from this photographer but it would be funny to share this candid moment. Maybe one day, this photo will go viral and find them lol

Ever wonder how a photo like this is taken? 🧐
I remember seeing a friend of mine post a photo like this and I was so curious. I had to know how he captured the photo. Now that I am a photographer, it seems like a simple camera trick. Just a steady shot with an increased shutter speed which is what creates that motion blur.
Are you curious to create cool camera effects like this as well? Should I make some Reels or TikToks explaining some of this stuff or is it overdone?

Does your life ever feel like a movie? 🎞️
I take so many photos and videos but the real moments always seem to be the ones that I don't capture. The times where you catch up with old friends and tell stories that could have been something in a movie, something you just couldn't make up. The late night drives with deep conversations about life. That's the stuff that movies are made of. This BC trip was full of them.
Last night, Minhal and I made tacos and wanted to bring some for our friends. They told us they were at Port and would be back in an hour. Instead of waiting. We packed up the food and brought it to the beach for them. We then enjoyed tacos on the beach while watching the sunset. Such a beautiful experience.
I didn’t bring my camera and my phone was dead. We all had the same thought though. It was meant to be that I didn’t. The most beautiful moments are the ones we couldn't capture on film because we were too busy experiencing them.
Anyone else or is this just me?

Does your grid matter to you? 🤔
Does it just matter to you or other people? I'm never really sure. Are you more likely to follow someone with a nicer looking grid or is this just a weird photographer thing?
Anyways, I will keep spamming my architecture photos and my BC photos until someone tells me to stop. They also make my grid look so nice... not that anyone cares lol 😅

Do you have an issue with your social media usage?🥶
I do. So I use Sundays to do this. Yesterday was my first planned reset day. I like to take my Sundays to clean and plan my week out.
This is to reduce the amount of time I'm on the app. So far, it's been helping and it's allowing me to share more without feeling like IG is taking over my life.
I use an app called Later and honestly recommend it to any businesses or creatives. This is not a sales pitch and I'm not getting paid to say this. It's just a free tool I use to make my life easier. If it could make your life easier too, that would be amazing!

The one thing I am grateful for on this trip was that we accidentally stumbled on this famous park. Everyone I talked to seemed to know about it and the only reason we went to it was because it was a cheaper and closer Uber ride from where we were 😅
also I got to fly my drone over an empty suspension bridge. It’s private property and normally there would be hundreds of people but it was empty due to covid restrictions. So, I don’t know if anyone will ever get to get a shot like I did 🤷🏻♂️

I stood in the middle of the street to take this photo 😅 We hardly got to see the mountains this trip which makes me really want to just move out there so I can see them all the time... maybe I will one day ☺️

These seagulls were great models. They were able to execute the poses I explained to them perfectly. Grateful to work with such great talent. Can't wait to go to BC and shoot with them again!

Isn’t perspective such an interesting thing? You can fly to BC and take incredible photos in the most unexpected places. It’s easy to just take a beautiful picture of a lake or mountain but to find beauty in the unexpected places? That’s the stuff I like. Sometimes you just have to look at things a little differently.
