1. FRIDA KAHLO - Having faced adversity throughout her life including polio as a child and spinal and pelvis damage from a car accident, she transmuted this pain into becoming a world-renowned self-portrait painter. She has since served as a role model for generations of artists, people with disabilities and bisexual women.

2. MARGARET SANGER, S*x Educator (1879-1966) - Because if you've ever gone to a Planned Parenthood or used birth control, you have her to thank.
