Words have the power to impact not just the receiver, but also the person delivering them, whether said directly or behind someone's back. It's crucial that we all strive to use words that uplift, empower, and inspire. This is especially true for women, who may face additional challenges in their personal and professional lives. It's important that we all make a conscious effort to support and empower one another, regardless of gender or any other differences. Let's work together to create a kinder, more inclusive world where positive words are the norm.

Honored to have Produced this show for Comedian Jeremy Hotz on SiriusXM Met & interviewed "Skippy" from Family Ties (aka Marc Price). HOTZ himself adds the following info:
New Hotz episode airs on Sirius XM Sunday. Special guest is actor/standup MARC PRICE. He became famous as "SKIPPY" from "FAMILY TIES". He tells us how he nailed that life changing gig. Pricey's one of the nicest guys in comedy. Happy, always a smile on his face. The complete opposite of me. 😅

The holidays and grief..... if you're grieving the loss of a loved one like I am, celebrating is the last thing i want to do. Here are some helpful tips I came across from Seasons Centre this morning. Ironically (?) (There are no coincidences) after i instinctively created the memorial space for my mom last night so guess I'm onto something ❤️
So...one breath at a time. We close our eyes, take a breath and know we've got this. ❤️
They write:
We understand the holiday season can be difficult for those who are grieving. Here are a few ways on how you can cope with the Holiday Season after losing a loved one:
The following may help make the holiday season bearable:
• Set limits on what you will do. Grieving is exhausting and you will need to let others know what you can or cannot do.
• Decide on what traditions you feel up to doing. If writing greeting cards is overwhelming, don’t do them this year.
• Decorating as usual may be helpful to keep some traditions the same. Have a special decoration for your loved one. It is OK to make changes.
• Make a list of gifts you want to buy. Shop with a friend, shop through a catalog/online, give money, ask others to do the shopping and wrapping. Buy a gift for your loved one and donate it or keep it in a treasure box.
The thought of creating rituals without your loved one can be upsetting. However, for a grieving child, creating new rituals can provide a safe way of expressing the mixed emotions they are feeling during the holiday season.
Seasons Centre is here for you during this time, If you or a loved one are struggling, contact our Program Coordinator Kate Cullen at 705-721-KIDS.

Something I had gotten not so pretty for so I could reenact and make this poignant statement.
Domestic Violence *caution* potential trigger ⚠️ warning
Do you know what it is?
Domestic violence can be defined as a pattern of behavior in any relationship that is used to gain or maintain power and control over an intimate partner. Abuse is physical, sexual, emotional, economic or psychological actions or threats of actions that influence another person. This includes any behaviors that frighten, intimidate, terrorize, manipulate, hurt, humiliate, blame, injure, or wound someone.
Domestic violence can happen to anyone of any race, age, sexual orientation, economic class, immigration status, religion, or gender. It can happen to couples that are married, living together, or who are dating. Domestic violence affects people of all socioeconomic backgrounds and education levels.
Call local shelter or organizations to get help or consultation. If in emergency, call 911. Nothing to be embarrassed about. Get help and support. Rebuild your life but save it ❤️
This is a reenactment of a 911 Call done similar to a woman in this situation and the dispatcher caught on and deemed a hero.

Confidence doesn't always equal arrogance. Some times it's taken a lot for someone to get there and believe in themselves. This is called implementation of healing, doing the work from having been bullied and mostly learning HOW to have self love and self care.
Lesson. Be kind and don't judge what see on the outside. Have no clue that individuals journey.

I had grown up in a very strict Christian environment. I'm grateful I had the support in my teen years but quite honestly, was repulsed in the criticism and thinking like the lady on the microphone. I never understood the hypocrisy because everything was supposed to be about love, patience, kindness , etc. So I rebelled against the institution and chose to have my beliefs.
I love how Oprah handled this and wholeheartedly agree. This is how we are in my household and how I raised my children to be. Anything they want, know they're always loved and how we treat others.
