Water isn't just a resource; it's the heartbeat of long standing traditions, the sustenance of ecosystems and the essence of life itself. As custodians of the land, the LFN community stands united in safeguarding these lifelines for future generations, passing down the cultural practices that are forever intertwined with water.

We're honoured that we were chosen to collaborate with LFN to tell this story and create a heartfelt video that captures their connection with water. Special thanks to all of the land guardians, water monitors, council members, elders and youth who contributed their time and wisdom to this project.

Fresh out of BCIT, Adam Forsythe, Ryan Sullivan, Peter Nguyen and myself attempted to produce a golf show called "Well Over Par" in hopes that a network would pick it up - nobody did haha. What we managed to do was get sponsored and shoot five episodes in Scottsdale, Palm Springs, Whistler, Vancouver and Seattle. While we ultimately failed at our main goal, we all look back on this and agree that not only did we have a blast doing it, we learned a lot as well, ultimately propelling us forward in our careers. This edition of Well Over Par Wednesdays features Adam sinking a ridiculously long putt at Washington National in Seattle!

To this day, one of my favourite series ever produced is HBO's "24/7 - Rangers/Flyers" by Ross Greenburg & Co. Something about the way that rivalry was portrayed hooked me in. It's now produced as the "Road to the Winter Classic" and it was the inspiration behind creating something similar for the Bombay Cup.

I've spent the last few years battling with this project and never really knowing if it was worth finishing or not. There were so many times I would start editing and then stop shortly after because I was always comparing it to the real thing. It didn't take me long to realize that I needed to do my best to tell a story about not only the tournament, but a brief history of hockey in Hope.

It turned out better than I expected and I learned a lot by trying to do this on my own. The final product definitely could have used a wide broadcast shot to capture the entirety of each game as well as some post-game and "in the moment" style interviews.

Hope everyone enjoys it - especially the boys! Big thanks to everyone who was in the video and wore a mic.
