Dear Red Deer,
It’s time. We’re doing something cool and what we feel is of importance. A local band. Made a record, at a local studio. Supported by a local record label. Celebrating this achievement at a local theatre. What we’re trying to say is now is as good as time as any to support local. We are extremely excited to celebrate this milestone with Memphis Mafia Band and are very grateful for all of you who have bought tickets so far.

Let’s get as many music lovers and scene supporters as we can in that room. Did we mention there’s an incredibly cool local band opening the show? Juke will kick off the night with their awesome upbeat bluesy vibes warming up the room to see Memphis Mafia Band like you’ve never seen them before.

Copies of there new album will be available for the first time as well as exclusive merch for the show.

Additionally we’ll have local luthier and guitar master as well as former MMB band member David Gilmore of Gilmore Guitars Inc. emceeing the night!! 🎉🎉🎉

Memphis Mafia Band, a high energy band that plays classic and outlaw country along with some good “old time” rock n’ roll music.

Formed in 2017 in Red Deer, Ab, Memphis Mafia Band quickly went from playing local venues to touring around the province playing the many larger Casino Circuit, Rodeo and Festival shows.
Each member brings vast experience and love for the “Golden Years” of rock and country which is evident on the stage. Audiences quickly become engaged in the moment and the show inevitably turns into a dance party.

JUKE is such a fun band with a show of upbeat bluesy toe tapping tunes that will have you bouncing right out of your seat!

We are proud to announce that Miles Thomas, will join Mountain Music at the Amphitheater during Westerner Days Fair. Miles is a captivating singer-songwriter and guitarist, weaves tales that resonate with audiences of all ages. Born in Chilliwack, BC, and raised in Cape Breton, NS, Miles now calls Alberta home. His music blends the storytelling of John Prine, the country soul of Merle Haggard, and the punk-infused twang of Tim Armstrong and Mike Nunez, creating a unique sound that explores themes of love, hardship, and the modern outlaw.

With a relatable and nostalgic style, Miles' songs have a way of making you stop and appreciate life's beauty.

As a versatile artist, Miles can be found performing solo or with his various projects, including Thee Primitive Sound, The Beauts, and Chuck Spadina. Recently signed to Deer City Records. Guitarist Toney Springer has hung with the best of them, David Bowie, Jeff Healey, Bon Jovi, Jay Leno, David Letterman and Arsenio Hall. These are a few of the personalities that have been blown away by Toney's music. Toney
aka Wild T took his name from his home town of Tunapuna Trinidad, though one may find similarities to Jimi Hendrix, Lenny Kravitz & Eric Gales ironically it was Toney's exposure to Steve Howe (Yes) that inspired him to pick up guitar.

Jeff Healey felt he was a man with endless imagination, a man who could combine that imagination with an emotion that you couldn't help but feel. "I followed him around like he was a Messiah, I probably learned more from Toney than anybody else, Toney's been my idol for years" said Jeff Healy.

Jeff Healey wasn't the only one who noticed Toney's rapid ascension through the ranks. David Bowie chose Toney to be his guitarist on his Black Tie White Noise album after seeing Toney's video for 'Midnight Blues' on a tv show while in Montreal with Tin Machine (Bowie's Supergroup), subsequently Toney appeared with Bowie on Jay Leno, David Letterman & Arsenio Hall & on Bowie's making of Black Tie White Noise dvd prominently showcasing Toney.... "an absolute delight to work with" said Bowie.

The spiritual karma exchanged with his audiences has given Toney a tremendous reputation for firey live performances.
