is Wednesday. You still have time to pick up a great Canadian kids book to read with you family.

Catherine Dempsey, author of DAPHNE'S BEES, recommends BAREFOOT HELEN AND THE GIANTS.
She says "I love the way Andy revels in the story - and turns the traditional stories on their heads. Barefoot Helen is a delight, the giants are scary, and the dialogue is so wonderfully humorous. The illustrations are as freewheeling as this adventure."
