I’ve been passionate about acting since I was 10 years old. The power of theatre and storytelling deeply impacted me, and I wanted to be part of something that could make audiences feel emotions they weren’t expecting. Acting’s unique ability to convey powerful messages and emotions drew me in, and after taking my first classes, I realized it’s not only creatively fulfilling but also the most rewarding career I could imagine. I’ve had the opportunity to train across Mexico, Canada, and France, learning from diverse disciplines that have shaped my skills as an actor. My most intensive training took place at Cours Florent, a renowned acting conservatory in Paris, France. I signed with FilmComm Talent a year and a half ago, and ever since, I've been provided with high-quality auditions and invaluable opportunities. Although I am a non-union actor, being a FilmComm actor has instilled a sense of  confidence from within as my agency continually pushes for my success. Felipe Aukai is a Brazilian actor of Irish descent. His strong accent can be an obstacle at times, but his ability to speak 7 languages gives him an edge in the industry as he is well immersed in a plethora of cultures and experiences. Felipe came back to Canada in 2017 and started from scratch. Now, 7 years later, Felipe is succeeding in the union world of acting. He is also signed with AMG Sony music. Felipe has written, composed, and performed a catalog of original alternative rock songs. His compositions have yielded a major worldwide distribution deal. By the end of 2024, Felipe's music will be available on all platforms and will be played by over 3000 radio stations in the US. We are enthralled to have Felipe Aukai as part of our roster. I’ve always dreamed of becoming an actor but never seriously considered pursuing it. Then, two years ago, I thought, “What the hell?” I started taking acting classes for the the first time, then at the end of the year, I paid for headshots and a demo reel. I proceeded to reach out to a bunch of agents - I was ready to take this seriously. FilmComm Talent responded, and two weeks later, I was signed to their agency. I couldn’t believe my good fortune; I felt so blessed that an agency as accomplished as FilmComm would consider me. Every time I’m on set, I feel so lucky. Their high standards push me to be my best and demand the realest, most raw performances I can deliver. Being a copywriter also gives me a unique advantage, and I think this was the perfect time to pursue a career in acting. After living through my 20s, working with agencies as a copywriter on shoots like these — I can come to set as an actor with a wiser background that supports my performance! Tessa Lee Bailey is laser focused on building her acting career. She knows this industry demands hard workers who deliver, and she is up for the challenge. However, Tessa's acting career isn't her whole story; many facets in her life bring her immense joy: Tessa is actively involved in the animal rescue world and has been since birth. She's that kid who stares into cars on hot days to make sure no animals are inside and the one who politely asks if there are vegan or vegetarian items on the menu. Tessa is committed to anti-bullying and inclusivity for all. Her bookshelf is full of bucket-filling goods, and she was recruited by her school board for leadership on the Equity Club. Last summer, I decided to aggressively pursue acting. Since that time, I have completed over 300 hours of on-camera scene study and improv training at LB Acting Studio, MAP Actors Practice, The Second City, and Karen Ivany Acting Studio. In the past 8 months, I have been cast as a lead in 3 short films, I booked a commercial, an episodic television show as well as an industrial campaign. In March of 2024, I joined my current talent agency, FilmComm Talent. I credit FilmComm for their hand in accelerating my acting career - FilmComm has given me ample booking opportunities through a heavy audition schedule. Furthermore, FilmComm seemingly has a great relationship with every casting director in the city; providing me with ample opportunity to showcase my skills for each of them. Arya Ashoori is an MBA graduate and former corporate recruiter with international experience in Spain, Switzerland, and his home country, Canada. He speaks English and Farsi fluently and Spanish at a conversational level. Beyond acting, Arya runs a media and events production company, A-Squared Projects, catering to SMB and entrepreneurial clients. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, playing pickleball and basketball, and organizing local events in the GTA for emerging creatives—filmmakers, actors, and content creators—to showcase their work and network.
