Without going into a drawn out dialogue I can say that it is with mixed emotions that we are releasing this song that my old friend Richard Lavoie wrote with his friend Tony Perriera, and I added to recently for this project. Sadly, Richard’s health has rapidly declined in recent months and it was very important for Robert and me to put this out in honour of our old pal, Richard. As James A Michener wrote, “We are never prepared for what we expect.”
Sans entrer dans un long dialogue, je peux dire que c'est avec des émotions mitigées que nous sortons cette chanson que mon vieil ami Richard Lavoie a écrite avec son ami Tony Perriera, (et que j'ai ajoutée récemment pour ce projet). Malheureusement, la santé de Richard a rapidement décliné ces derniers mois et il était très important pour Robert et moi de lancer cette chanson en l'honneur de notre vieil ami, Richard.
