We hit a point where we felt it was time to take another look at our branding. Did it truly represent us anymore? The answer was...well, mostly yes, but not quite. Our studio has grown and matured, and with new members came fresh ideas and different ways of thinking and working. Royal Canadian Mint: Celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day
IAMSTATIC partnered with McCann Canada to help introduce the Royal Canadian Mint’s $2 commemorative circulation coin celebrating National Indigenous Peoples Day.
For the first time in the Mint’s history, three artists collaborated on a single coin design, celebrating the rich heritages and traditions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples in Canada.
Integrating beautiful landscape photography with traditional symbols found on the coin, we wanted to honour that unique collaboration by showcasing the various regions these communities call home.
