Niall Collins

Niall Collins Director, Cinematographer, Editor. I have always had an interest in video production for as long as I can remember.

As a child my friends and I would make stop motion animation videos with our toys, through high school I found any excuse to turn a project into a video project, and after attending Sheridan College’s three year Media Arts course I started off my career working for three years in post production for film and television full time. I then branched out into unscripted television production and came t

o realize that my passion was in producing high quality visual content, so I began expanding my skill set and knowledge of all aspects involved in media production. I am well rounded in all areas of production including; pre production planning, lighting and cinematography, photography, audio recording, as well as editing and post production audio. I work on a variety of types of projects from music videos, to photography and video production for ecommerce products, to corporate and behind the scenes photos and video, real-estate, live streaming, documentary and more! In my spare time I enjoy summer canoe camping trips to the far North, and have an unhealthy addiction to trying to achieve the perfect espresso. My muse Nunu (an eight year old American bully) can be found in the pet photo section for your viewing pleasure. Let me help you tell stories in a modern and sophisticated way, and build an emotional connection to the final product. Feel free to reach out anytime to talk about your production needs.

Well, it’s been a few days now and it’s time to post something we don’t want to. We had to say goodbye to our sweet girl Nunu on Thursday May 29th. She was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer, and her decline was rapid and unexpected. Both and I are devastated, but the support from loved ones, along with all the incredible stories and photos being shared has been so heart warming. On her final day, she was as comfortable as she could be - she got to experience the taste of chocolate, and then she went to sleep peacefully, right at home in her favourite spot, with us by her side. Throughout the almost 5 years that we had together, she lived a full-ass life. She got to travel across our country, wade in waters and sleep on beaches in almost all of the provinces. She camped with us and was the most excellent tent and canoe companion. She was just so loved and spoiled every single day. We were so lucky to have known her, she made us better people. Life won’t be the same without our sweet girl. RIP Nunu.

This year has been one of the most interesting of my life;

Throughout 2024, I’ve spent seven months on the road shooting and directing for two different television series based on the east coast of Canada. Over two months, I was shooting for a show called Claw Hunters. I got to experience lobster fishing in the winter in Lunenberg Nova Scotia, and I saw the Bay of Fundy, Portland Maine, and Boston. For the past five months, I’ve been living in St. John’s Newfoundland working with a great group of folks on season 3 of East Harbour Heroes (it will be airing next year on Crave and Discovery Canada). In my time in Newfoundland, I’ve gone on a lot of adventures. I went on a five day fishing trip out towards where the Titanic sank. I also went on a tuna fishing trip where they caught a nearly 900lb fish. I’ve seen sharks, dolphins, halibut and scallops. I’ve visited Labrador. I also spent five days flying in military search-and-rescue helicopters, shooting their training missions. I was also aboard one of two Canadian navy submarines. I was officially “screeched in” on a cod boat in the Atlantic Ocean. The man that screeched me in () is a captain, and he has an incredible story of “The Lucky Seven” to tell. His boat caught fire and sank, and the entire crew survived on a raft for two days, being miraculously saved and uninjured. Throughout my east coast journeys, I’ve eaten countless “plates of beige”, driven more than one would like, lost a phone to the ocean, and I’m now a proud owner of a pair of crocs. I have bibs and steel toe rubber boots and my own life jacket, as well as a whole lot of new camera gear. All that said, it’s been a hell of a ride, and I’m happy to be home for some rest over the holidays. I may have an eight day red-fish trip coming up in January though, so I can’t retire the bibs just yet. Here’s to more in 2025!

I’m thankful to have made a lot of new friends on this journey. Shoutouts to .jamin97 .deo and anyone I missed. Looking forward to working with you all again in the new year!

I’ve been shooting on boats this past few months, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned it’s that blue Gatorade and beef jerky don’t taste great coming back up.

If you haven’t seen it already make sure to check out newest music video for his track The Language of Rain. It’s already gained over 21k views on YouTube! It also features a familiar face I had the pleasure of shooting this video back in the fall, and we had such a nice day doing it. The fantasy vibes are real.

Been out east the past month shooting a show. It’s been quite the adventure so far. hmu for a collab! 🤣

Fire Roasted Tomato Basil - available today hot and by the jar or freezer tub!
This is one of the original soup options we launched when we first opened. It's so cool to think back to this photoshoot with our friend
We had this crazy soup business idea, Adam came up with the first few varieties to launch (this, the Creamy Mushroom and the Beef & Ale Stew) Niall took some incredible photos, and we set up downtown Ingersoll offering free samples. It makes me so happy that many of those faces I met the first day have been die hard customers ever since. Thank you so much to those original fans, and to every one of you who has joined in the soup journey along the way!

Another photo dump, because there are too many good ones NOT to share.
