About this weekend! We had an awesome time hosting the OYA Scale Up Creative Jam Weekend Intensive. Prototype teams were formed and many innovative ideas were generated. These creatives are working hard towards motion capture readiness, which will happen with Dark Slope in January. Thanks to Oya Scale Up Immersive Lab Cohort 2 for joining us!

CFCML Webinar: Navigating The New Normal (Part 1)
On Friday, March 27, CFC Media Lab held the first of a three-part webinar series called Navigating The New Normal.
Aaron Williamson (Founder, Goal17 and CFC Media Lab Faculty member) in collaboration with Ana Serrano (CDO, CFC) has developed a series of scenarios based on evidence-based research, analysis and expert validation. They presented these scenarios as a set of draft thinking tools to help us understand what our next steps might be as organizations and businesses.
These draft scenarios were stress-tested in real time by guests Susan Bondy (Associate Professor and Program Director, Master of Public Health, Epidemiology, Dalla Lana School of Public Health, U of T), Karim Bardeesy (Co-Founder and Executive Director, Ryerson Leadership Lab) and Erin Millar (Founder, The Discourse) who also shared their analysis from each of their perspectives — public health, policy development and startup business respectively.
Don't miss part two of the webinar series, on Friday, April 3, where we explore specific ways that we can live through this pandemic by examining what some companies are already doing in response, and what the first 100 days of this reality could look like. Moderated by Ana Serrano and Aaron Williamson, with speakers including Petra-Kassun Mutch, Erin Millar, and Warren Coughlin.
