It’s such a beautiful space rooted deep in history; it is actually the former Donlands Theatre! It went from a theatre to a shooting studio with production offices and almost became a self-storage space! Luckily, there were people who believed in its potential & set out to make it what it is today!

Can’t wait to see all of her hard work be brought to life!
I’ve been sitting on the #BlueGirl project for three years waiting to premiere this work at Nuit Blanche.
#BlueGirl is sci-fi feminist operatic three channel video that sheds light on female self immolation, resistance, and voice. This work is a collaboration with a power house team of women and an incredibly dedicated production team.
The behind the scenes clip was a sweet capture by my production manager @mr.amirkiani while @gabriellerz was directing my artist spotlight for CBC arts. Makeup artist @kurtbrown.mua and I were preparing the soprana @tahirihvejdani while filmed by @kontaktfilms and @roblit0 @justin_arjune @piestudios
