As I sit here in LAX waiting for my flight to Toronto, the scenes playing out in Los Angeles are truly heartbreaking, I feel for all my friends who live here, having said that, I was really happy to see my dear friend of over 30 years Jon Elliott who is doing great, the situation in LA is not sustainable with climate change now playing a major factor in this ever changing world, not sure what is next for this sprawling metropolis. Some of the pix here are of smoke shrouded Santa Monica, beauty under horrific circumstances.
