Happy Humpday. It has taken me a bit of time to get to this post but as the Beastie Boys said "slow & low, that is the tempo" 🎶
I want to thank everyone who came out to Aqua Boogie last to celebrate my birthday last Saturday. I must apologize to those of you who attended earlier in the day but had to leave before I got there. Unfortunately even with the best of my planning, I still ran into some unforseen issues that kept me from returning until the evening. I was later informed that there were quite a few people who were there earlier and I didn't get to see but the fact that you came down and showed love Iwas not lost on me and is truely appreciated.
I also want to thank and acknowledge those who got on board without any hesitation to work together to make the event happen beginning with the djs: , Allan, Mike, Melanie and Corrado. Big love to you all! Although I may not have been physically present for some of the sets, I did catch a bit of everyones set thru out the day via videos on Fb and IG. Vibes on vibes with no filler. The entire 12 hours of music programming was fantastic. Thanks going out to Sudaeep for his help setting up the additional sound and DJ equipment while Gio and myself barked opposite orders at him at the same time. Shout out and a hug to Stephanie who greeted me apon my arrival and escorted me around the venue to the stage. I have to give a massive thank you to the "hosts" Virgil and Lindsay. Whereas most hosts just show up and join the party, they each played pivotal roles in making things happen. I want to thank the management and staff at Acqua , especially my brother Moses for working together with us on a shared vision that will ultimately benifit our house music community in the near future.
Lastly I want to thank my partners Paul and Gio for handling most of the "leg work"and for the planning involved to present the past 2 Aqua Boogie events as well as the work they've already put in to facilitate the future Aqua Boogie events that are in motion and will be announced soon.
