As per ATO - ‘Patterson Hood has announced his landmark new solo album, ‘Exploding Trees & Airplane Screams’, arriving on Friday, February 21, 2025, with new song “A Werewold and A Girl”. Listen to the new track and pre-order the album on vinyl or CD at the link in bio.

“A Werewold and A Girl” features vocalist Lydia Loveless, who will support Patterson on his upcoming 2025 tour, and was produced by Chris Funk (The Decemberists, Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks). Hood’s fourth solo album and first in over 12 years, ‘Exploding Trees & Airplane Screams’ also see him supported by a stellar cast of friends and fellow musicians including Waxahatchee, Kevin Morby, Wednesday, Drive-By Truckers bandmates Brad Morgan and Jay Gonzalez, and many more.

With many of the songs composed on piano, this new record marks a bigger departure from Hood’s work with Drive-By Truckers than prior solo efforts. It explores the songwriter’s youth and young manhood in a collection unlike anything in his ever-evolving catalogue.’

ATO is set to re-issue two classic Hurray For The Riff Raff 11/1!!

The “rich, courageous” (NPR Music) 2017 album ‘The Navigator’ tells an interwoven, cinematic story of a wandering soul at a crossroads of identity and ancestral weight - a thrilling call to arms which includes “Pa’lante,” “Living in The City,” and”Hungry Ghost.” This re-issue will be available on Frosted Blue vinyl.

HFTRR’s 2014 break-through album ‘Small Town Heroes’ caused NPR to declare Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Alynda Segarra: “a voice rooted in history, making music to change the present.” The album includes the track “The Body Electric,” which was named NPR’s 2014 “Political Song Of The Year.” This re-issue will be available on Pink Acid Wash vinyl.

The band have announced a new live album ‘Live From Brooklyn Paramount’, releasing 11/22! Listen to the first sample of the album - “Know You Better” (Live From Brooklyn Paramount) + pre-order the album now on 2xLP “Brooklyn Brownstone” coloured vinyl!

As per ATO - Black Pumas returned to the road in 2024, playing across the globe at legendary venues such as Radio City Music Hall and festivals from Glastonbury to Pitchfork Fest in support of their highly acclaimed sophomore album ‘Chronicles of a Diamond’. The live album was recorded this past July as the band was at the peak of their summer tour. ‘Live From Brooklyn Paramount’ captures the unparalleled 90 minute “Electric Church” live experience created by Eric Burton, Adrian Quesada and their six-piece band, which they notably brought to the most prestigious stages including the GRAMMY Awards and Austin City Limits.

The live recording features songs from both ‘Chronicles of a Diamond’ and their million-selling self-titled debut album, including the Grammy-nominated “Colors” and “More Than A Love Song,” as well as other classics like “Black Moon Rising, “Fire” and their version of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car.“‘

Whoa. Exciting news for all us Drive-By Truckers fans out here 👀!!!

‘In case you haven’t noticed, American Band has been out of print for a minute and we’re happy to announce the release of American Band Deluxe on vinyl (and digital). The original album plus an additional disc of LIVE tracks from American Band recorded live at HeAthen’s Homecoming 2018 (at the fabulous 40 Watt Club). By then, the AB songs had morphed into a fuller glory including a new live version of “Kinky Hypocrite”, “Ramon Casiano” (the new single), a full on “What It Means” and “Ever South” with the “Southern Accents” intro & more. It truly Kicks Ass!

There’s also new bigger liner notes, extra photos, and a new cover featuring art work from that period from our almighty Wes Freed. Vinyl and Digital out November 1, 2024.’ - DBT
