🆘Grab some dark chocolate, almonds, walnuts or blueberries - Antioxidants are your bffs (they help to protect the body's cells from oxidative stress).

🆘Take a breath - breathing directly influences the body's autonomic nervous system (which controls functions like heart rate + digestion). Try the 4-7-8 Technique - breathe in 4 seconds, hold for 7 seconds and exhale for 8 seconds. Repeat 3x.

You will never fully eliminate stress, but you can manage it.

Happy November!

With the holiday season upon us, I’m curious…how do you try to stay healthy??

Since getting *ahem*fun older, I am definitely learning some things that help…

👉Stay HYDRATED: Hydration helps with everything - cellular health, skin, mood, weight management, digestion, detoxification…When I am busy, I forget to drink water.
Tip - take your water bottle with you everywhere you go. It’s a visual reminder to drink up!

👉Meal prep: Instead of just grabbing whatever is in sight, how about planning ahead? It takes the guesswork out of what to eat.
Tip - nutrients like vitamin C, vitamin E, and zinc play critical roles in strengthening the immune system - so add those to your meal prep!

👉Maintain fitness schedule: Regular movement impacts your overall health, we know this. With a full schedule, prioritize fitness in your day, even if it means shorter sessions.
Tip- Get your workout clothes out the night before & plan your workout ahead of time.

👉SLEEP: Need I say more?! Sleep helps with just about everything, from cognitive health, immune function, heart health…
Tip: Have the same bedtime every night + aim for at least 7 hours

👉Limit sweets: It’s hard not to indulge during the holidays, but all that sugar can really do a number on your overall health!
Tip-Out of sight, out of mind. Don't deprive yourself from enjoying a little, but after that, put it away.

👉Take a breath: The extra holiday stress can impact both mental & physical health. When you feel overwhelmed, just breathe. Like stop what you're doing and just breathe in and out.

Feeling truly blessed that I work from home and can be there for him, serving healthy meals and ensuring he takes his medicines. 🥣💊 I can even handle my work from my phone, all while being by his side. 💻👦

This is for all the moms out there who want to work but often feel torn between their careers and raising their children. 🤱👔

You know what? It's possible to find the balance! 🌟

Opportunities like these let us enjoy precious moments with our loved ones while still pursuing our professional dreams. 🙏🕒
