Some more good news to nicely slide towards 2025.
''Les Anges font le ménage'' was included in the Official Selection of RED MOVIE AWARDS, and now be awarded as one of the best works of their AUTUMN EDITION 2025.
Let's wait and see.

To end the year 2024 with grace, ''Claire de Lune'', Short Film, was noticed during the Golden Swan Zurich Film Festival and reached the finish line as:
Award Winner - Best Drama / Romance Short Film.
So very grateful to my team.
Happy to accomplish this with Iridis Production.
Also ''Les Anges font le ménage'' and ''Chlore'' where selected in the same festival.
Lots of Gratitude to all the people who contributed to the success of the 4 short films I wrote, directed, co-produced and played in, while still living in Canada.
Lots of gratitude to the Festivals noticing the love I put in each of them.

both Valérie Lecomte's short documentary films have advanced as Semi-finalists in the Best Performative Documentary Category, in the FilmHaus Festival from Berlin.
The FilmHaus Festival received 1,375 submissions from 53 countries Very grateful and honored to have been considered as a semi-finalist for what they put as ''a testament to your creative vision and technical excellence''.

Claire de Lune, Les Anges font le ménage, Chlore and Clore, my four short films have just received some beautiful recognitions from Cinescape Lisbon Online FilmFest 2024.
The Festival received a total of 335 global films.
And yet, we got:
Claire de Lune, NOMINEE, Best Short Film,
Les Anges font le ménage, semi-finalist, Best short film,
Chlore, semi-finalist, Best short documentary
and
Clore, semi-finalist as Best experimental.
Quote from Cinescape: ''your work has dared to escape the ordinary, embodying the rebellious, fresh and transgressive artistic impulses we champion. Our jury of diverse masters has recognized your creative fervor, and we're excited to celebrate your success''.

Both short-films ''In a field of 227 entries from around the globe (...) have captivated the jury with their exploration of the human psyche and mastery of the darker side of cinema.'' (Quotes from Darkland)

As the writer, director, co-producer of these films also acting in both, that means a lot to me.
I am grateful to both teams. It brings so wonderful memories.

Chlore and Clore, my two latest short docu-drama films have both been noticed by Planet Cinema Festival, New-York.
Chlore: Nominee
Best Groundbreaking Concept (made the Top 7 most competitive projects in this specific award category. 472 submissions).in the Top 7 out of 472 submissions).
Clore: Semi-Finalist
Best Documentary Cinematography (made the Top15 most competitive projects in this specific award category. 472 submissions).
Congratulations to my micro-teams on these projects and to Planet Cinema for giving me reasons to look forward by remaining a story-teller with my all my heart and sincerity.
