Met-TV’s Core Team is expanding! We are looking for two talented individuals to join our team as an Events Lead and an Unscripted Producer. The Events Lead will work closely with the executive team to ideate, plan and execute several events for the organization. The Unscripted Producer will be responsible for overseeing the production of all unscripted shows for Met-TV.

Student hosts will interview industry professionals to provide the insider scoop on what led them to where they are today. Providing valuable insights and advice, this new monthly segment will help fellow students navigate through their career journey.

Met-TV Welcome to My Crib is hiring!

This fun interview series will get a behind the scenes look into student apartments around the city. Students can gain perspective on what it’s like moving downtown and living in residence or off-campus housing while seeing how spaces are interpreted differently through unique aesthetics.

If you’re interested in the series and looking to get hands-on experience, the production team is seeking a Camera Operator/Audio Lead, Producer, and Editor!

Introducing Met-TV, the official name for our relaunch of Toronto Metropolitan’s television network! Met-TV is run by students, for students, and was created with the goal of giving individuals a place to foster their creativity and share their content. Met-TV gives students the opportunity to learn the basic inner workings of a television network and gain firsthand experience taking on a variety of broadcast roles. We will use this platform to showcase live events, sports games, interviews, as well as produce original content and television shows that highlight TMU students’ talent!

We are currently looking to curate a crew list of RTA students who want to volunteer in various broadcast and production positions on a project by project basis. Similar to RAMs Live, RUTV is looking for students to fill a variety of roles in order to provide hands-on learning experiences in the world of production. Whether it be for a Live Streamed Event, a Scripted Series, RUTV Daily News, or other projects our Network is working on, we will definitely need a lot of support and help from the RTA community to assist with these productions.
