2025 💜a year built from love, loss, and the stubborn act of creating anyway.
This year was not easy.
It was heavy. It was heartbreaking. It carried the loss of people I loved deeply and there were days where simply showing up felt like the hardest thing I could do.
And yet… I kept choosing creative healing.
So many of these projects were fuelled by grief, by love, by memory. By the need to *do something* with all the feelings that didn’t know where else to go.
Creativity has a way of finding us …even in the darkest corners.
This year we:
✨ said goodbye to DIY Danie and stepped into DIY IN PROGRESS ✌️
✨ carved out a studio that finally feels like home
✨ chased whimsy with stained glass, folk art, and fantasy-filled details
✨ created cabinets, storage, mirrors, dupes and pieces that hold stories… not just stuff
✨ we helped others love their magic and sprinkled whimsy all over Ontario!
✨ built a scullery from chaos and turned it into something sacred and moody 🖤
If this year taught me anything, it’s this:
You don’t have to be okay to create something beautiful. You just have to keep going xx
Thank you for being here. For holding space, for supporting the evolution, and for loving the magic even when it was messy.
Here’s to finding beauty in the broken, building through the hard stuff, and carrying all of it forward into 2026 xx
Love your magic. Always. 🖤✨
