🤚🏽 Raise your hand if your trying to sell products from your content and your not seeing the results you want....

➡️ Pay attention to how often you are trying to get people to buy from you and if your doing that in more than half of your posts you need to dramatically dial it back.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
➡️ Focus on building a relationship with your community and entice them to buy from by providing them value in your content. They will buy from you if they trust you and your brand. Trying to sell them on something every time they look at a piece of your content is a sure way to push them farther away from making a purchase.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That doesn't mean you can't sell in your content at all, but doing it in a way that's not pushy and seems natural yet direct is a better strategy.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✅ You can use the 80/20 rule when your coming up with content ideas so that every caption and every post isn't asking people to buy from you. Of course, having the appropriate links in your bio and making sure that your product is a true reflection of your content are necessary components to having higher conversions as well.

Why you might not be getting traffic on your content ➡️ You aren't using CTA's in your captions OR on your videos. Yes I said ON (I'll share a tip for this below)

CTA's are important because it allows you to tell the person looking at your content what you want them to do. Make sure to add a CTA in your captions. People who read your captions are the people you want taking action anyways. These people are more engaged with your content if they are doing more than just liking your pos, therefore telling them what do to next will have a more positive effect and they will be more willing to take that action.

TIP:
Putting a CTA in your reel or TikTok video as text will help navigate your viewers to take the next action with you. Not everyone read captions so its important to add these CTA's where you can and when you can, if it makes sense.

HASHTAGS ARE NOT DEAD. Despite what other "experts" are saying this is in fact not true at all. Hashtags allow the algorithm to understand what type of content your sharing to send it to the right audience.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You may be thinking, "But I see influencers and brands omit hashtags and still get a lot of engagement,” however, they probably already have an audience who is going to see their content regardless. The algorithm already knows where to send it based on the audience and their engagement. None the less, I would argue that if they started using hashtags they would grow even more and quicker.

🤩 Do you want your content to start going viral?

We all hear the word VIRAL but what does it actually mean? Viral content is so much more than massive views. The views are a result of creating a piece of content where the components of that post are perfectly in harmony.

When this happens it evoke an immediate response from the viewer to take an action (comment, share, save which are the most important right now) which triggers the algorithm to continue to push that piece of content.

Valuable: What value is provided in this?
Intentional: What was my intention in the messaging?
Relatable: Is this truly relatable
Attractive
Lasting

The reason why content goes viral is because it has multiple components of what I just listed. Once you can tackle these elements creating content will be MUCH easier!

THE CAT IS OUT OF THE BAG. Instagram founder said it himself “Use relevant keywords and hashtags in captions. For a post to be found in Search, put keywords and hashtags in the caption, not the comments.”

Putting your hashtags in your comment section is hurting your search-ability and discovery, which does not help you with the algorithm.

🚨TIP: if you want your caption box to look clean and not have your hashtags right next to your copy, do this 👇
