PRESIDENT ABUSRC INAUGURATED WELFARE/ PRICE REGULATION COMMITTEE.

The President of Ahmadu Bello University Students' Representative Council Amb. Jibril Idris Kawuje has inaugurated the welfare/ price regulatory committee this evening. The inauguration which took place at the ABUSRC Secretariat around 5pm gave the full reassurance of welfare for all students of the university. In his remark, the president charged the Committee under the leadership of Z.N Maikudi to bring greatest to ABUSRC by making sure prices of essential commodities are regulated, expired products are properly confiscated and sources of consumable food are well inspected. This according to him is a major task of his administration and will be giving the committee all necessary support to achieve its mandate.

UPDATE: FIRE OUTBREAK (ABUSRC)
Date: 27th January,2021.

At early hours of today, the President ABUSRC, Chief of Staff and Media Chairman visited the fire incident which affected a single room, block A5 in Suleman Hall which was affected by the fire incident on 27th January,2022. Afterwards,he paid a visit to the student who was affected by the incident.

The President has promised to embark on prudence and thorough investigation to prevent next occurrence of such incident.
The President urged all Abusites to stay calm as ABUSRC and relevant stakeholders will take proactive measures especially on the issue of unhealthy kerosene that caused today’s accident.

According to the earlier report received, the kerosene which caused the fire incident was brought within the university community.
However, during the interaction with the victims it was confirmed that the kerosene was bought from Kano. The ABUSRC in collaboration with concerned stakeholders will look into the matter thoroughly.
