Diversity Thunder Bay works towards an inclusive, equitable community free of racism and discrimination of any kind.

Diversity Thunder Bay believes that Thunder Bay should be a welcoming and safe place for all.

We have learned of an awful act of racist vandalism recently in Thunder Bay, directed at a newer community member. As always, we condemn hate speech of any kind, directed at anyone but want to address the rising rhetoric towards immigrants. There is a dangerous wave of xenophobia washing over some of the world right now.

We must remember that unless we are Indigenous, we are all immigrants on this land and we must work to disrupt and dismantle all disinformation, misconceptions and prejudices as we encounter them.

Diversity only serves to strengthen us, through broadening our perspectives and understanding. We must embrace and celebrate it.

We are truly grateful for the contributions of everyone in our community.

🎶JAZZ NIGHTS ARE BACK FOR 2025!🎶

🎉Mood Indigo is thrilled to announce another year of jazz at Anchor & Ore restaurant inside the stunning Delta Hotels

🗓️On January 24th, Jazz & Old Fashioned Fridays will resume each week from 6pm-9pm and starting on May 6th, Tuesday nights return too (and will run until the end of October, every Tuesday from 6pm-9pm).

🥂Along with the weekly jazz nights, also look for us at The Delta’s special celebrations such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas Day Brunch and New Years Eve!

🎹🎻🎺We are excited to welcome back to share the stage with us our talented musical friends throughout the year and, as always, continue to grow our repertoire of original music and old favourites to bring Thunder Bay the best jazz experience in town.

It is always such a thrill to be recognized by the community for something that we love so much but even more so by being in the company of such amazing musicians. The level of talent, creativity and expression amongst our colleagues robin ranger and Martin Blanchet Jazz Quintet and everyone else in our Thunder Bay jazz family is exciting and inspiring and we are honoured to be a part of it.
