This Sunday on Land & Sea, an archival special about our local police force that served remote communities of Newfoundland and Labrador in the 1930s and 1940s as the Newfoundland Rangers. 204 men served and only one is still living today. We'll present an archival show with an updated interview with 99-year-old, Cyril Goodyear, the lone Ranger. Tune in at 11:30/11:00 in most of Labrador. We visited Mr. Goodyear at his home in Deer Lake this past summer and couldn't pass up an oppourtunity to stop at Deer Lake beach!
