"Its Tuesday... There's nothing to do." Never the case in this city! Get out and support the Refugee Solidarity Walk today at 1pm leaving the RIAC at 204 Water Street, finishing up at Harbourside Park. This is Refugee week and there are a series of fun and educational events all week to raise public awareness of the situations faced.
Or take in a science demonstration at the Johnson Geo-Centre specifically for adults at 6:30pm! Thats right... "GEO After Dark". A 19+ event, with a cash bar that does hands-on science experiments, getting a close up view of some natural geological wonders, stargazing in our inflatable planetarium and more. Tonights topic: MARVELOUS METAMORPHICS. Learn about metamorphic rocks and get to see some marvelous specimens. Best to call 737-7888 for tickets in advance. Enjoy your day!

A Nature walk at MUN botanical gardens, "Turn of the Screw" at LSPU hall, The first local "Slut walk" downtown from Harbourside Park to City Hall, Pink days in bloom sea to sea tea in support of Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation at the Admirals Green Club house in pippy park, and much more. Carousel is the second musical by the team of Richard Rodgers (music) and Oscar Hammerstein II whose much-loved stage and screen legacy includes The Sound of Music, Oklahoma!, and The King and I. This production is conducted by Judith Yan, directed by Michael Cavanagh, choreographed by Pamela Pittman, starring Andy Jones as Starkeeper.

Pegged as the “best musical of the 20th century” by Time magazine, Carousel tells the story of the swaggering, carefree carousel barker Billy Bigelow and his struggles to rise above challenging circumstances. Featuring favourite songs, including “If I Loved You,” “June Is Bustin’ Out All Over”, “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” and many more!
Tickets are $58.60 for General Admission and $53.60 for Students and Seniors.
