Crankworx Day 9. Canadian Open Downhill.

Crankworx - Day 8

What a great day it was. Who knows how many people were there but definitely it was the biggest Slopestyle yet. John Cowan designed a sick course with all the custom features being big but with good flow. The wind was a bit of a let down and riders had some issues but not for guys like local hero Brandon Semenuk or Swedish sensation Martin Soederstrom and winner Greg Watts whose second run was flawless with tons of technical tricks the whole way down. Throw in Spanish freak of nature Andreu Lacondeguy winning best trick with some sort of off axis 360 with a superman and this event did not disappoint.

Crankworx - Day 6

The weather continues to be the largest challenge for the riders up here at crankworx. The rain cancelled the VW trick showdown pushing it until saturday morning. What a day that is going to be. One thing the rain doesn't cancel is parties. All crews were out in full force last night and we let Tippie put the mic in peoples faces at 3 of the parties.

Crankworx - Day 2

Whistler Creek Productions is proud to present Day 2 of our Crankworx coverage. Today's event was the Monster Garbanzo DH. With a changing weather pattern hanging in the air Brett Tippie and the crew set up in the Garbanzo zone to cover it. A bit of rain added on to the already dusty conditions making the course pretty slick but the times were still crazy fast. 13 minutes from the top of Garbo, are you kidding me??
