I started this amazing Facebook group in February 2015. It is now at 14,226 members with 12,380 daily active members. It is a friendly space with minimal rules.
Jacques and I are the sole admins, spending a good amount of our days, being sure everyone is happy and things are running smoothly. Each and every member we consider a neighbor and will always do our best to help where we can.

The CSRD's boat launches are for everyone.
So don't be a dock hog!
Lately, the CSRD has been having problems with boaters mooring their boats for long periods of time - overnight or even for several days.
Our bylaws limit mooring boats on CSRD docks to a maximum of 10 minutes for loading and unloading purposes only. Please keep to the time limits, so everyone can use these public facilities.

Hi everyone, thanks for checking out our page!!

Here’s a little background on us and how we got to where we are today.

We started our entrepreneurial journey in 2008 in Fort McMurray, Alberta. After working for employers in the snow removal and lawn maintenance field, for almost 2 decades. We took a chance and went out on our own. We started out with snow removal with a partner that had hydraulic equipment. Jacques and I hit the road running and gathered up as many contracts as we could. Once the snow started falling, our partner changed his mind. So there we were with all these contracts, including parking lots. We put our heads down and shovels to the ground and got to work, nothing would stop us from succeeding! We did very well and gained many businesses and people’s trust with reliable and quality services. We then launched the lawn maintenance side and also did very well. Facebook was new back then so it was mostly word of mouth and Kijiji. We continued doing this until 2010 when I became pregnant with our beautiful daughter, Izzy. We contracted out the lawn and snow division and I started a commercial and residential janitorial division, which also did very well.

In 2014, we made the biggest decision of our lives. To move to Blind Bay! We found Blind Bay by accident, on our way to Summerland, to look at houses to purchase. Angela being from Kamloops, never stumbled across this little paradise. We instantly fell in love. We moved into our wonderful home July 2015.
