The Holy Trinity Titans, junior volleyball team turned out the lights on the Delhi Raiders (10-4), winning 3-1 and keeping their undefeated season alive. With captain Izzy Girard ( #10) leading the charge alongside Karys Hillis ( #15), the Titans punched their ticket to CWOSSA. Girard, in their first year with Holy Trinity, called the season fun and was thrilled with the championship win.

BIG CROWD in Waterford for the Seedy Saturday: Seed Exchange, Garden and Homestead Market! Come on out from noon to 4pm to WDHS and explore over 50 businesses and organizations talking about all things growing.

Entry fee: Canned Good Donation for the Waterford Food Cupboard

Event times: 12pm-4pm Accessibility entrances can be found at the WDHS Brown St. entrance as well as through the doors across from the football field.

Seed Exchange: Bring your saved seeds to trade with like minded folks. Label with the type and number of seeds, as well as the traits and growing habits. Don’t have seeds to trade? No worries! A small donation at the seed exchange table will let you participate.

A fire broke out in a garage on Nixon Road near Windham Road 12 shortly after 2:00 p.m. yesterday (Feb6). Norfolk County Fire Department responded quickly and found the garage in flames, surrounded by parked vehicles, including food trucks. Fire crews managed to put out the fire, but some nearby vehicles suffered damage.

All the money raised throughout the day helps us improve the care we are able to provide to our expected mothers and their newborns, right here, at home, in the Norfolk community!

Mike Tobin has worn many hats with the Port Dover Sailors, from coach to general manager to owner. His journey began after his playing career when he was asked to get involved. Initially hesitant, Tobin quickly became immersed in the team, moving from assistant coach to head coach within two weeks. Over the years, he has played a key role in shaping the organization, now overseeing operations and ownership.
