Purpose: To teach the Bible without error, dispensationally considered, respecting Paul’s instructions to rightly divide the word of truth, and to encourage faithful service to God through the preaching of Jesus Christ according to the "Revelation of the Mystery."

--We preach Jesus Christ, his death, entombment and resurrection, and the life-giving work performed in us by faith.

--To reac

h out to all those who have been chosen before the disruption of the world to be members of Christ’s body, so that they would know the hope of their heavenly calling.

Think about this, if God was unable to trust a perfect human to take care of His garden and follow some very simple instructions which had dire consequences, what makes you think that He is going to trust a fallen person like yourself with a decision about your eternal destiny ?, truth is He hasn't, that decision was placed in the hands of His beloved son Jesus Christ, for while humankind were yet sinners Christ died for them (all) (Romans 5:8). The cosmos, (including you) has been redeemed by God, lock, stock and barrel, its out of your hands, He has saved you for Himself because "He so loved the world (you)" (John 3:16). You don't give the very best you have to redeem something then throw most of it in the fire ! He didn't buy you to burn you, think about that !

When you have waited for what seems like an eternity for a "one of kind" king to arrive dressed and accompanied by what only God could design, riding a white warhorse charger to deliver you from a seemly impossible situation, but instead an "off the rack" son of no account parents, from a place from which nothing good can come (John 1:46) shows up riding a donkey followed by a rag tag army of palm waving peasants, you just know there's going to be trouble, and thank God there was !

Gods will and desire is NOT to get you to do anything for Him, but for you to know and understand what He has accomplished for you, in and through the finished work on the cross of His son Jesus Christ, that's it, rest in Him and be at peace.

Discipline is training and not punishment. Discipline administered by a righteous hand is a beautiful thing, because the end result is righteousness and peace. (Hebrews 12:11)

Training by discipline is not an easy road, however, you are being trained to one day rule and reign with the Son of God. (2 Timothy 2:12) Therefore "My son, do not despise the LORD’s discipline, and do not resent his rebuke." ( Proverbs 3:11)

We will be there on graduation day. Gowns and caps, and the applause from the heavenly host and beaming pride of both Father and son, at which all of this hardship will be forgotten, so, "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." (Galatians 6:9)

Curiosity seems to be a trait that is endemic in God's creation. "Even angels long to look into these things" (1 Peter 1:12), and also "the prophets, who spoke of the grace that was to come to you, searched intently and with the greatest care." (1 Peter 1:10)

All of creation is on a need-to-know basis, even Jesus did not know the end of all things until he received "a revelation from God to show those who serve God what will happen soon." (Revelation 1:1)

Your curiosity is commendable, but God is not obliged to tell you more than you need to know, and don't be prideful about what you think you do know, because "who makes you different from anyone else?" What do you have that you did not receive? And, if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not? ( 1 Corinthians 4:7)

You would think, that God in his omniscient foreknowledge, would have pre-selected and chosen a line of human beings to fulfill his plans, that were just plain old good human beings; ones he could be proud of in establishing an unblemished line to the Messiah and beyond.

But no, contrary to human practice He did the following. "The foolish things of the world did God choose, that the wise He may put to shame, and the weak things of the world, did God choose, that He may put to shame the strong. (1 Corinthians 1:27)

Don't let anyone put you under any form of performance-based program in relationship to God the Father, just remember, you didn't choose him but he has chosen you" (John 15:16), and "chosen you before the disruption of the world." (1 Ephesians 4) He chose you before your first cigarette, drink, or curse word; he knows what He is doing!!

Many Christians are attending churches that believe either openly, or covertly, that the modern-day church has replaced Israel in God's plan for the salvation of mankind, this is called "church replacement theology."

Let's look and see what God has said about his "beloved, my bride" (Jeremiah 31:4-6), and "the apple of his eye." (Zachariah 2:8)

Zion says, “The LORD has forsaken me, the Lord has forgotten me!” “Can a woman forget her nursing child? Or lack compassion for the son of her womb? Even if she could forget, I (God) will not forget you! Behold, I (God) have inscribed you on the palm of My hands; your walls are ever before Me. (Isaiah 49:15)

"If you had only known the time." (Luke 19:42)

Is knowing what time it is biblically, important? Yes, that's if you don't want to miss what's going on! By not knowing the time, you can miss what God is doing today, not yesterday, or in the future.

Many Christian churches are focusing on what God did in the PAST, or what he is going to do in the future, and not, what he is doing today. This then results in teaching that is ineffective. Having people hoping, praying and pleading for signs, wonders and miracles that happened in another time, and is NOT for today.

This is the time (Age of Grace) where God is dealing with humankind in a different way than he did in the past, or will do in the future. If you really want to know what (biblical) time it is, ask someone who knows how to tell the (biblical ) time.

Not heard the voice of the almighty God? Don't be to disappointed, Jesus the Christ, "the only begotten son of God" (John 3:16) did not hear the voice of his heavenly father until he was thirty years old. (Matthew 3:17)

Jesus, throughout his life, learned of his identity and his destiny by studying the written word, and "advancing in wisdom, and in stature, and in favour with God and men." (Luke 2:52)

To speculate that Jesus was receiving any more than you and I, as we progress through life in God's word, is to rob Jesus of his identification with humankind and his true oneness as the "Son of man." (82 biblical references)

As with all humans, God grows us, and will never "give us more than we can handle" (1 Corinthians 10:13) at the stage of life and progress to which he has brought us.

It is important to realize, that the epistles written by the Apostle Paul, are LETTERS and not books. These letters were written to specific people, at SPECIFIC TIMES, over a period of 16 years -- from AD 49 to AD 65. These letters show an incremental increase in Paul's insight.

Question: If you had received a number of letters at once from a long-lost friend, I would hope that you begin reading with the earliest one written, and then work your way through. Paul's letters are NOT chronically placed in the Bible, therefore, if you don't read these letters in the CORRECT ORDER then you miss the progression of the revelation God gave to Paul.

So you ask, Is this important? Yes, absolutely!! The more that you presently know, "For yourself, concentrate on winning God’s approval, on being a workman with nothing to be ashamed of, and, who knows how to use the word of truth to the best advantage." (2 Timothy 2:15)

If you are a bona fide member of "the ecclesia" (church) which is His body, the fullness of Him who is filling the "all in all" (Ephesians 1:23) then we are told that we have a "power that works in us." (Ephesians 3:20) The manifestation of this power in us, also attracts other beings in the spiritual realm, it makes you attractive to some people, and a repellent to others. (2 Corinthians 2:16)

Don't be dismayed by the whirlwind of activity around you, this is normally manifested in and through people, places, and circumstances. So, put on the full armour of God (Ephesians 6:11) and having done all, stand. (Ephesians 6:13) Remember, you are a spectacle and an amazement to spiritual entities, both the good and the bad (Ephesians 3:10) in the heavenlies.

I had just seated myself and the class had begun on the first day of a week-long training session, when the door burst open and an obliviously harried and late person rushed into the room and embarrassingly sat down.

During the first session, the person was nervously looking around, flipping through their course material. It wasn't until the first break that the person spoke to the instructor telling them, "I think I am in the wrong class" before leaving.

Is this you in the church you are attending? Are you troubled and confused by what you are being taught? Are you uncomfortable and a distraction to those around you? Is your spirit grieved? There is a reason, it is because all the Bible is for you, but NOT all the Bible is to you.

Before you learn about what God has said, and requires of others to do, know what, if anything is required of you by hearing the Word of God taught (Romans 10:17) correctly divided. (2 Timothy 2:15) Focus on who you are, and where you live in God's biblical timeline.

There is a belief among the peoples of the world, that somewhere out there, in the far reaches of the universe, there are other 'beings' out there and of course, these beings are predicted to be far more advanced than us puny humans. So, should these aliens decide to invade us, there would be no contest.

The Bible tells me that of all the 'beings' that have been created, both visible and invisible, that mankind is at the apex of God's creation. "We are created in his image." (Genesis 1:27)

The Bible tells us in meticulous detail, the future plans God has for us. (1 Corinthians 2:9). Just look at who is seated at his right hand. (Colossians 3:1) Just look at to whom he has given ALL AUTHORITY (Matthew 28:18) both in the heavens and the earth .... a god? A superior spiritual being? (Hebrews 1:5) Not a man, a resurrected, immortal, glorified man, the one who is the first, and the template for all of humanity in the future.

Don't be like Adam and Eve and let the devil steal your identity. Believe what the Bible says about you!! It's so liberating!

I do have to say that I have noticed that many people who attend Christian churches are looking for solutions to their problems. Be they physical, emotional, mental, relational, financial, etc.

Any pastor/teacher/preacher who attempts to address these ongoing issues, sometimes misusing the Bible, can be assured of repeat attendances ... because life happens, constantly, every day, everywhere, be assured we all are presently living in a "wicked, evil age." (Galatians 1:4)

The sufferer will always be told that they are the main offender in their own life's dilemma, enhanced by regular doses of demonic activity perpetuated by acts of sinfulness. This is a hamster wheel with no means of visible escape.

The key to escape is "truth." "You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." (John 8:32) Where can truth be found? "Thy Word is truth," (John 17:17) which was the scripture given to the people to rightly divide (2 Timothy 2:15) and will have an amazing effect on them as the lies dissipate and the truth makes free.

People in Christian churches are perishing for the lack of knowledge. (Hosea 4:6)

In the high school I attended, they would put on display items made from wood, iron and even a restored classic vintage car, which all was done by the students.

All of these items were displayed in a show area, with lighting and surroundings to enhance. The school also had a voluntary curriculum which you could stream into, carpentry, metal work, automobile repairs and restoration. (great concept)

On attendance at the school, a tour of these facilities was conducted. Upon entering each area, gone were the shining lights and ambience of the show area, it was replaced by loud noises, smoke, fire, whirring machinery and the banging of hammers, what a contrast! These were the future display items being created by the hands of the craftsman.

We are His workmanship (Ephesians 2:10). Is your life presently inundated with noise, chaos, heartbreak and sorrow? Do not be discouraged or dismayed, YOU ARE UNDER CONSTRUCTION, "He who began a good work in you will complete it" (Philippians 1:6) "In order that in the coming ages he might DISPLAY the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus." In the Bible, there is an account where the Apostle Paul tells his Corinthian audience a secret, "Not all of you are going to die, but you will be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye" (1 Corinthians 15:51) and yet, all those who were attendant to his words, recorded in scripture did die. What happened? Did Paul lie to his followers? Was there something he did not know? If you don't know, you might want to find out why.

In the Bible, when it says "Created in the image of God" (Genesis 1:26), it is not about looks, but status. Of all the created 'beings' in the universe, beings of immense power, status, and authority, the 'being' that is seated at the right hand of God, the almighty, through whom all things are created, is a human being, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5)

In this present dispensation of the Grace of God (Ephesians 3:2), that man, Christ Jesus, is building himself a group of other human beings that will one day, rule and reign with him as joint heirs. (Ephesians 3:6)

They are collectively titled the church (ecclesia) which is his body, over which he is the head, who fills all in all. (Ephesians 1:23) These people are "the called out ones,” (Ecclesia) and NOT called into a religious church organization.

One day all of created humankind (1 Timothy 4:10 ) will know God from greatest, to the least. (Jeremiah 31:34) Every knee will willingly bow and confess that Jesus, the Christ is Lord to the glory of our Father. (Philippians 2:10-11)

Sometimes as believers, we use the idiom that we feel that we are "spinning our wheels" in our walk with God and ongoing spiritual growth.

This message is actually meant to establish to you and affirm to you that “spinning your wheels” is the major status quo in your growth in God. The wheel that you feel spinning in your life is "the potter’s wheel" and "the breaking and making in your life" is the hand of the potter.” (Jeremiah 18:4)

Your deepest spiritual growth is not in the rose-filled garden or on the road filled with prosperity; no, it’s in the garden of Gethsemane when the deepest work is being done.

Don’t be deceived by feel-good information, it is our privilege to “suffer with him, so that we may be glorified with him.” (Romans 8:17)

We read in the Bible, that we, as believers, are in fact at war. (Ephesians 6:12) If this is true, then what kind of war is it? Is it subsequently, the one who is our opponent?

Some Christians go to church on Sunday and midweek and do 'warfare' by shouting, screaming, dancing, and singing, leaving the service all tired out after fighting the enemy, all the while not realizing that the war is an 'information war,' a battle for the “hearts and minds” of humankind and is fought with truth, which is opposed by lies.

Faith comes by hearing. (Romans 10:17) This war, this battle, is for your mind, and if you are not being taught by listening to the word being read, by which faith comes, then you are not able to know, discern or understand what the “will of God is.” (Ephesians 5:17)
You will be far more effective in the battle against wicked forces (Ephesians 6:12) by engaging in active listening to the proclamation of the scriptures, rightly divided (2 Timothy 2:15), and donning the complete armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) than by getting yourself all lathered up shouting at the devil at the Sunday service.

There once was a king, and that king had a servant, and that no matter what happened in life, good or bad, he would always exclaim "It is good!"

Once, while out hunting (the king loved to hunt, and would always take this particular servant with him whose job it was to load his rifle.)

On this particular day, for some unknown reason the rifle loaded by the servant malfunctioned causing the king to lose his thumb, to which the servant exclaimed "It is good!" The king was furious, and had the servant immediately thrown into prison.

Approximately a year later, the king was out hunting again with another servant when he found himself surrounded by another tribe of hunters who were cannibals. The king and servant were both bound and tied to a stake, and as the captors were about to set the fire, they noticed that the king was missing a thumb. (Their superstitious practice was to only consume people who were whole and not maimed, so they freed the king.)

The king went to the prison where he had the first servant locked up and apologized for imprisoning him, to which the servant exclaimed "It is good." How can it be good the king cried, to which the servant said, "if you had not imprisoned me, I would have been with you when you were captured by the cannibals."

"We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God -- those to whom he has called according to his plan." (Romans 8:28)

Is it possible to get a basic overall understanding of the Bible without religious affiliation, church going, or ecumenical affiliation?

The answer is a resounding yes! In fact, without religious dogmas, denominational creeds, and narrative agendas to confuse you, it is possible to get a clear sound common sense grip on what the plans of God are, past, present and future for humankind and creation at large.

Your greatest challenge will be to find someone who has been set free from the matrix of religion to be your guide and mentor, look for that person, they are out there!

https://eastcoastherald.ca/do-you-really-understand-the-bible/

If you are a Christian (or more importantly a believer) I want you to take a minute and be honest with yourself, and with God, and admit that you do not completely understand the Bible -- after doing this, you may encounter a sense of relief. I want to further help with the sense of relief. The reason you do not understand the Bible is that you’re not supposed to. Read it, yes, comprehend it, no.

Understanding God's plan for humanity contained in the scriptures, is given by the revelation of Holy Spirit, for purpose, not for personal intellectual knowledge, or individual enlightenment, or gain. It is given to only those whose future role is to administrate the coming era both in the celestial and the terrestrial realms. If you are not called to either of these roles understanding will not come. (Acts 1:3)

Not everyone in the coming eras is appointed to rule and reign. For the vast majority, “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority (Acts 1:7) therefore be at peace with God and yourself."

"IF" you had the opportunity, the opportunity being, that you could be "born-again," would you seize that opportunity?

What if it was a choice between a rebirth, or, being made into a completely new created being? Which would you choose?

The Bible outlines both of these states, one, the rebirth is discussed by Jesus Christ during his earthly ministry with a senior representative of Israel’s ruling elite. (John 3:1) This rebirth being a prerequisite of the nation to entering and being a part of the, “at hand” (Matthew 3:2) earthly kingdom of God here on earth.

Paul describes the process for those who will inhabit the heavenly realms as having to be made into a completely new creation, one which would enable them to be “changed in a moment.” (1 Corinthians 15:52) One of these actions appears to have earthly implications, while the other has heavenly implications. They are DISTINCTLY DIFFERENT, 'born again' is directed towards the nation of Israel, while the new creature (2 Corinthians 5:17) in which no superior status is given to either Jew or Gentile, male or female is reserved for those in Christ.

In the present conflict in the Middle East between Israel and the Palestinians, both sides are proclaiming that God is on their side and that the world of men are also divided as to which side they are standing with. But where does the God of the Bible stand on this matter? Let me tell you, He is right in the middle. By God's design and desire, this conflict is taking place according to His plan, like pieces on a chessboard, God moves the nations toward the final conflict as described in the Book of Revelation of Jesus Christ.

When the pride of mankind culminates in his utter destruction, “unless the days were shorted” (Matthew 24:22) then the righteous ruler will appear and will systematically put “all of God's enemies under his feet,” (1 Corinthians 15:25) This will take approx. 1000 years, and at this time, all those who have died in these wars and conflicts, will be raised from the dead, both the great and small (Revelation 13:16) and they will see their creator sitting on the throne.

Turn the other cheek, bless your enemies instead of cursing them, give your shirt as well as your cloak, and go the extra mile. (Matthew 5:40)

Was Jesus advocating a lifestyle with these commandments? Is this something that we are to uphold today as believers?

Spoiler alert, the answer is an emphatic no! Then why did Jesus give this commandment to His followers? He gave it because Jesus believed and proclaimed that the Kingdom of Heaven was “at hand.” (Matthew 4:17) It was imminent, and consequently those being sued, slapped, robbed, and generally put upon, would soon become the rulers of the world, subsequently turning the tables on their abusers.

All commandments given by Jesus to His followers were a prerequisite to “entering the kingdom.” (Matthew 5:30) A kingdom that was about to be established “here on EARTH” and not a HOW TO GET TO HEAVEN formula. Getting into the kingdom that Jesus was proclaiming during his earthly ministry, required works, and it required bearing fruit in keeping with righteousness. (Matthew 3:8)

Today’s believers are saved by GRACE and not by works. (Ephesians 2:8:9)

In any earthly conflict, Embassies of other nations, in the places where conflict arises become a hot spot of activity. People looking for extraction from a place of danger, both citizens and non-citizens make appeals for rescue and asylum.

The entire world is entering a time of tribulation and people will be looking for answers and for refuge. You as a member of the Body of Christ are an Ambassador and your home an embassy.

Be calm, lay low, stay inside, and remember, this is not your fight, you are not from this world, but be prepared to assist those looking for answers and a way of escape.

Soon ambassadors will be called back to the place from which they were sent, then will be fulfilled a scripture -- “I go on to the One who sent me. You will look for me, but you will not find me. Where I am, you can’t come.” (John 7:34)

Which is it? Pre-Trib, Mid-trib, Post-Trib, No-Trib?

If you think the Book of Revelation is all about the modern-day Christian church then you are mistaken. The word church was never in any of the original biblical writings; the original word was Ecclesia which when translated from the Greek, means a group of called out people.

Therefore, these Ecclesias could be from a varied people grouping, in fact, there are people who are being raptured during/ throughout the pages of the Book of Revelation who are not in the realm of 'the church' as you know it.

The 144,000 Jews from the twelve tribes of Israel, an Ecclesia in their own right, get raptured out, then there are those who are martyred and give glory to God, an ecclesia in their own right also get raptured out. So, there you have it -- there is a Pre, Mid, and Post-Rapture of believers.

Have you ever experienced the Dunning-Kruger Effect?

I have, especially in response to some of my posts on this site. The Dunning-Kruger effect is based on a 1999 paper by Cornell University psychologists David Dunning and Justin Kruger. In their test, they found that most people rated themselves to be much smarter than they were before having their knowledge tested. The researchers attributed the trend to a problem of metacognition—the inability to analyze one’s own thoughts, performance, or abilities. “Those with limited knowledge in a domain suffer a dual burden -- not only do they reach mistaken conclusions and make regrettable errors, but their incompetence robs them of the ability to realize it,” they wrote. Confidence is so highly prized that many people would rather pretend to be smart, skilled, or knowledgeable than risk looking inadequate and losing face. Even smart people can be affected by this effect because having intelligence is not the same thing as STUDYING, LEARNING, and DEVELOPING specific skills or knowledge sets. Many individuals mistakenly believe that their experience and skills in one particular area are transferable to another.

Many people overestimate how much they can learn by just listening to others – resulting in an “illusion of accurate knowledge acquisition,” therefore "Do your best to present yourself to God as an approved worker who has nothing to be ashamed of, handling the word of truth with precision." (2 Timothy 2:15)

The intent of Jesus earthly ministry was for the Jews, particularly the “lost sheep of the house of Israel” (Matthew 15:24) to believe in him as their prophesied messiah. He did this by way of stories and anecdotes (parables) while backed up with signs, wonders, and miracles.

If they believed, they had to confirm this acknowledgment by repenting (change of mind) and being water baptized, followed by ongoing behavioral acts to ensure continued adherence, “produce fruit (good works) in keeping with your repentance.” (Matthew 3:8)

When Israel was temporarily set aside by God, as recorded in the book of Acts, the preaching of Paul’s gospel of God’s grace, required you to only believe “that Christ died for your sin on the cross, was entombed and rose again on the third day” (1 Corinthians 15:4) no repentance, no water baptism and no behavior reforms required. You are then sealed by the Holy Spirit “unto the day of redemption” (Ephesians 4:4) transformation by the renewing of your mind (Romans 12:2) in order that you might be able to “test and prove what is pleasing to the Lord.” (Ephesians 5:10)

Which gospel are you placing your hope in? The one you have to maintain by ongoing repentance and continuous good works? Or, by grace in which you are kept in God -- “grace through faith and NOT OF WORKS. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

I have just read recently, that a beloved actor in a long-time prime-time television series, was being scripted out, and that his exit was by means of an accident resulting in his demise. The amusing thing was that so many fans reacted emotionally during the episode of his death, and he, of course, was away in real life sunning himself on a tropical island while many of his fans were crying.

The longest-running saga known to humankind is the one involving God and his ultimate plan for humanity -- which is the salvation of ALL.

You can see it live all around you, but I would suggest getting the book, it has a great finale!

Many of the characters in this long-running saga have been killed off. Once their part has been played and while many of us know some of them, and have wept, grieved, and mourned over their departure, they too one day will find themselves at the heavenly Oscars. Some will receive an award for their performance; others will just enjoy the event.

Some of the actors who are not invited will one day (after a very long time) get a call to come and join the party, because Jesus Christ is the “Saviour of ALL the actors, especially the protractors (as opposed to the detractors)” (1 Timothy 4:10) ...“but each performer in their own casting slot.” (1 Corinthians 15:23)
