It’s about building something better than great! At Iconium Media, we are passionate about achieving excellence and creating media that captivates. We strive to go beyond great and always overdeliver! This value drives us to take our work from a '7' to a '9.'
A few weeks ago, we held our '7 to 9 Creative Summit,' focusing on understanding each team member's unique gifts, which help us thrive individually and as a team.
Our unique differences create harmony and refine our artistic talent, leading to transformational impact. Karen Schenk, our CEO, guided us through the day, and alongside Neal Black, Founder of Designed Growth, laid the foundation to encourage our team to thrive. Neal’s workshop challenged us to go beyond skill-building, helping us truly understand each other’s strengths and how to better support one another. Through thoughtful and interactive exercises, we gained the essential tools to elevate Iconium from a '7' to a '9.'
During the day, each person’s colours—defined by the Birkman Assessment—were expressed on a live canvas of wildflowers, representing the beauty of our combined palette. The painting, lovingly called 'Good Dirt,' now hangs in our hallway as a reminder of 'healthy soil,' inspiring us to live our lives to the fullest in our work. Here’s to continued growth, teamwork, and the exciting journey ahead!

One step that we are taking to reduce our environmental impact is composting our coffee grounds. Not only does composting reduce waste, coffee grounds are also rich in nutrients that improve the quality of composted soil and make the composting process more efficient! ☕
