Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday. As time goes on, I spend less time on social media, however its times like this that I'm reminded how many wonderful people I've met over my life.

I also want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who trusted me with their art this year. I try to just keep my head down and focus on work, and then spend time with my friends and fam when I can, so I don't really post studio pics/vids or try to game algorithms to self-advertise, and yet I still find I'm recommended to new artists/projects all the time, and without that word of mouth, I would never be able to do what I do, so I genuinely cant thank everyone enough.

I'll try to list the folks I worked with this year, however it's hard to remember who was last year and this year due to the nature of this work haha, so if I forget anyone please forgive me! In no order:

And lastly my brothers in Eye of Horus! We finally crossed the finish line and finished the album and had a blast doing it! Love you fellas.

Today one of my favorite thing's I've ever worked on comes out! Through Wild Eyes is the latest release by The North Hammer Saga, I actually co wrote a few riffs for this one with Andrew James, and we had Gord Alexander lay the thunder for the drums as well. Hello everyone! I wanted to do give a quick update as to what is happening with Oracle Studios.

Obviously I am taking this super seriously, and have postponed a few of my upcoming productions. This is an ultimate bummer for me and a first in my career. However I have been working on how to still provide the utmost customer service for my clients, new and old.

If you have already recorded multi-tracks or stems, obviously I will mix them for you, I'll even do a test mix for free. I know that alot of us have lost our incomes and I know you want to be absolutely sure that I can handle your music before you let go of your savings. I can assure you, I'll give your text mix my undivided attention so we can make sure that we are a good fit, and make that s**t slap.

Very few people will fall in the category above, I imagine most of you will be like this: You have a few songs or maybe enough for an album, but now you're unsure what to do about recording it. You probably want to try to record it yourself and then send it out for mix/master. If this is you, I desperately want to help you out. If you decide this is the route you want to take, reach out to me, I'll live stream from my studio, walk you through every single thing I would do if we recorded here, answer any question you have during the stream, and then when you send me the files for a test mix, your product will sound SO MUCH BETTER than if you went at it yourself. 80% of a mix is in the tracking, so you don't want to mess that part up.

And this is the best part: for fun, I can then LIVE STREAM THE MIX for you! You can watch me as I mix your song from scratch, in front of your very own eyes and ears. You can ask me questions, as you listen to what I'm hearing and see exactly what I'm doing. If you want to mix your own music this would be a HUGE help. I did this with Josh Hahn not too long ago and it went amazing, we had a blast and I think he'd agree that he got his money's worth! Below is a tiny clip from our live mix.

We can do it privately if you prefer or we can do it publicly, you can invite your fans and friends and they can watch your song come to life in real time! It's free content baby!

I know these are uncertain times, but you can be certain that I'm going to work tirelessly to make sure the music you're writing whilst in your creative isolated cocoon is going to sound better than ever, even picking up some production and mixing knowledge in the process.

Last night was something special, we tracked drums for 7, highly intense songs in 7 hours. Henry was the definition of prepared, having practiced the songs to clicks for years, knew all his fills and could punch in anywhere.

Very excited to get this Omniarch album out. I like to think of it as Old Arsis melodies and guitar doodles, mixed with dissection ambiance and Norturnal-era Black Dahlia intensity.

Hey friends and foes! You haven't heard from us in a little while because we've been working our Omniarses off finishing writing our debut album. Good news! We just got Henry's drums set up in Oracle Recording Studios where the bodacious Diego is smoking up some juicy ear-brisket for you guys to taste, brainally.

Do you like rippin fast drums? Crazy harmonies? Thunderous basslines? Shreddin dual lead guitars? Guttural growls and banshee shrieks? Why else would you be reading this still?

Wait, is that a Devin Townsend song?

Welcome one and all to the Oracle Recording Studios page!

I bring you a little teaser of a cover of Bastard by Devin Townsend! My boy Travis Sullivan laid down some savagely heavy drums and I did the rest of the production. Working on this mix and trying to recreate it as faithfully as possible, really made me appreciate all the work that Devin and Daniel Bergstrand put into this album way back before protools was a thing.

Apart from a great song that showcases the services I can offer you when you record here or have things mixed by me, it also teases a M U C H larger project that will be smashing into the Edmonton... tentatively early next year ;)
