The Similan Islands I believe are a destination that doesn't get the same amount of hype or attention as PHI PHI but is less crowded and equally as beautiful. This destination is a wonderful day trip if you're staying in Phuket.

Similan Islands are an archipelago of 11 islands in the Andaman Sea, 70 km off the coast in Phang Nga Province. The park covers an area of 140 km² of which 26 km² is land.

With a rich marine life consisting of hard and soft coral reefs, crystal clear waters and white beaches, Similan Islands are considered to be one of the best diving sites in the world.

What's your favourite type of Transportation while travelling ?

Mine is hands down renting a Motorbike and exploring an island/city at my own pace. Its also much faster to get around when your in a big city like Bangkok.

It's also cheaper than constantly Getting a Grab or Bolt anytime you want to go somewheres. Having your own Freedom to live and explore the culture on your own time. Being able to stop and check out little shops/Restaurants or views as you please along the way I believe the easiest way to connect with your surrounding .

You'll probably come across a few hidden gems along the way when you take the path less traveled.

Koh Sok is famous for the three sister rocks. It covers 739 km² of land. Koh Sok park is the largest area of virgin forest in southern Thailand and is a remnant of rain forest which is older and more diverse than the Amazon rain forest.

In simpler terms it is a must see while travelling the southern part of Thailand. You will be missing out if you don't do at least a day trip exploring these breath taking views.
