Our Story

Voice Factory – La Boîte Vocale is a Canadian media company based in Saint John, New Brunswick. Operating for 38 years we have been providing specialized audio production, and Voice Over talent for global companies in multiple languages.

Working with NB Tel - the predecessor to Bell Aliant and Bell Canada – we formed relationships across North America in the delivery of voice and recording that last to this day.

The founder and President, Gary Chase is a graduate of Mount Allison University, with a background in Radio & TV broadcasting, as an announcer, writer and producer. Gary is also a professional musician, performing on both cello and piano.

Voice Factory continues to evolve. 38 years of focus on the production of telephone self-service applications, on-line education and e-learning course audio, radio & TV commercials, and now professional grade Podcast production. We also offer translation for all the languages we provide.

Our Newest Media Development: Podcast Production

We offer full production facilities with remote connection for guests, multi track recording, technician, and professional level audio gear. Services include hosting, transcription, and translation to meet the demands of the audio revolution.

Telephone Self-Service Applications – IVR - VRU

Our recordings for automated phone systems – for banking, travel reservations, shopping, customer help centres – serve millions of people across North America and around the world.

Radio & TV Commercial Production

Voice Factory has supplied audio production using multi-language talent for Radio commercials, TV, Multimedia and Video soundtracks for decades.

Our extensive talent pool and creative experience allow production of professional-sounding recordings for all media. We provide voices, sound effects and music for attention-grabbing results on radio, or anywhere audio is played.

Our subcontractors and affiliates provide translation services, including French, Spanish and 20 other languages…more as required.
