SIGNING ANNOUNCEMENT !

🏀 Meet Xzennis Brereton! 🏀

A Toronto native, Xzennis Brereton brings a wealth of experience to the court as a player, coach, and trainer. An Oakwood Collegiate alum, he led his varsity team to two city championships and an OFSAA AAAA title before continuing his journey at Mohawk College, where he played for 2.5 seasons and graduated with a degree in Architectural Technology.

As a pro, Xzennis competed internationally, including stints in El Salvador and Moldova, showcasing his skills as a versatile 6’3” guard. Today, he’s the Pro Skills Trainer at McMaster University, strength and condition trainer at Legacy Prep Canada and runs Xzennis Brereton Training, helping players of all ages unlock their potential.

Now, he’s excited to share his passion and expertise as a player in joining the Port City Power in Saint John, NB for their inaugural season!💪🏽🏀

Born in the Bronx, New York, and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Mikey Rodriguez's journey in basketball has taken him across the world. Starting at Marshalltown Community College in Iowa, Mikey made a name for himself as a JUCO All-American, showcasing his skills and earning respect as a top junior college player. He then transferred to Southern Illinois University, where he competed in the Division I Missouri Valley Conference and earned a spot on the All-Newcomer Team.

Mikey’s professional basketball career has been nothing short of global. He has competed in leagues across Puerto Rico, Iceland, London, the Dominican Republic, Colombia, and Canada. With a blend of East Coast grit and international experience, Mikey Rodriguez continues to leave his mark on the game, bringing his dedication and skill to every court he steps on.
