πππ Today, April 7th is Green Shirt Day across Canada - in honour of the lives tragically lost in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash in 2018, including Logan Boulet. Even through his passing, Logan was able to save six other lives, all because he was registered as an organ donor.
104.3 The Breeze is proud to wear our Green Shirts today to raise awareness for the importance of organ donations, and encourage all Canadians to take the time to register.
Join us in wearing a green shirt to raise awareness about the life-saving impact of organ donation. Let's inspire one another to register as organ donors and talk to our families about our wishes. Together, we can be part of a movement that turns tragedy into hope for those waiting for a transplant.
Organ registration only takes seconds. Register now at registeryourdecision.ca.
To learn more about Green Shirt Day and Organ Transplant, visit bctransplant.bc.ca or greenshirtday.ca.
