Thrilled to join the 90th anniversary celebrations of one of Richmond Hill’s most cherished landmarks within my ward — the David Dunlap Observatory 🎉

Over the last weekend of May, we came together with the DDO Defenders and the City of Richmond Hill to celebrate a legacy of stargazing and science with MP Vincent Ho, MPP Daisy Wai, my Council Colleagues Scott Thompson and Simon Cui, Dr. Shelton and Tuba Koktay 🔭

In the vast timeline of the universe, 90 years is but a cosmic blink — yet the DDO’s impact continues to shine brightly, inspiring generations to come. Here’s to many more stellar years ahead 🌌✨

Honoured to be part of this year’s Mayor for a Day event hosted by David West, Mayor, Richmond Hill, Ontario I had the pleasure of joining the lunch reception and sharing a special ride on a city fire truck with our Student Mayor, Alyssa Saidova, as we made our way back to her school from City Hall.

As the local Councillor for Ward 6, I’m especially proud to see Alyssa, one of our own, take on this role with such confidence and grace.

Congratulations, Alyssa !
