We are fortunate to have Steve Leidal as our composer for Flat Out Food! Steve is a gifted musician and all the music featured in our show is credited to him. The music plays a significant role in setting the mood and pace of each episode, contributing to the cozy and uplifting feeling that viewers experience while watching. We are incredibly lucky to have someone as talented as Steve as part of our team!

Tim Thurmeier is an outstanding editor who plays a pivotal role in the production of Flat Out Food. He takes all the beautiful footage captured and turns it into the final product that you get to enjoy at home. Editing is a collaborative effort with the director, but Tim's talent lies in his intuition for timing, his eye for detail, and his ability to find the perfect moment to end a scene in each episode. He is phenomenal at presenting the best of what is shot on set, creating captivating episodes that showcase the best of what Saskatchewan has to offer!
Mari Climenhaga is our Production Manager, but she wears many more hats. Mari is a jack of all trades, not only does she ensure that we are in the right place, on time, and well-fed, but also plays a crucial role in making sure that the set looks great, all while coordinating with participants, and keeping our day on track! Mari is an outstanding team member who brightens up everyone's day. We are extremely grateful to have her!
Happy work anniversary to our dearest Joel! Joel has been with HalterMedia since the very beginning. He was the first employee Adrian hired, and even after five years, he continues to be a critical member of our team. Over the years, Joel has taken on bigger roles within HalterMedia, such as becoming a camera operator on shoots, helping to train new employees, and has become a true leader on set. Joel has stood the test of time and we are forever grateful to have him! Cheers to Joel 🥂🎉

We shot this Hero shot of JP Free Bird using a tube light in front of him, for a fill light. We also added another light behind him, to serve as a backlight/hair light. The backlight helped create the glow around him.

Adam Burwell is our Director of Photography! Adam has a keen eye that transforms everyday places into beautiful, cinematic, wonderlands. A Director of Photography not only brings the director's vision to life but also adds their creativity and skills to capture amazing moments in real-time, and it is safe to say Adam does this with ease. Adams's ability to capture beautiful moments and personalities through his visuals allows the stories in Flat Out Food to shine. We are so lucky to have Adams' talents on our show, Flat Out Food would be far less beautiful without his efforts.

And of course a standing ovation for our crew, host, and director who put so much love and care into each episode! Our host, Jenn Sharp brings so much love into each episode through amplifying stories across Saskatchewan. Our director, Adrian Halter not only breaths life into this show but is truly the rock behind Flat Out Food, his guidance not only as a director but as a mentor and friend to everyone on set is what gives this show the warm and fuzzy feeling everyone at home experiences while watching.
