Ever feel like you’re constantly getting ready for something that never seems to come? The truth is, you never really know when your moment will arrive. Life has a funny way of testing our patience and persistence, but here's the key: Preparation is never wasted.

Think about it. You invest in things, make plans, build skills, and sometimes it feels like you're just spinning your wheels. But what if all those little things are actually aligning perfectly for a moment that you can't see yet? Sometimes, it's not about knowing what’s ahead—it's about trusting that your preparation has a purpose

You may not control when an opportunity will come, but you control how ready you are when it does. The time you invested in learning something new, or the faith you’ve held on to during uncertain times—it's all part of the puzzle. And then, there’s the God factor. That unexplainable element that moves in mysterious ways, often aligning things at just the right time.

Reflecting on August, the major highlight for me was the two-day coaching immersion with Coach Mfon. It was far more than just a coaching session; it was a transformative experience. For 13 unforgettable hours, we dug deep—excavating layers, challenging beliefs, and uncovering truths I didn't even know I had buried.

These were not just ordinary coaching sessions; they were intense, mind-altering moments that led to significant shifts in how I see myself and the world around me. The insights gained were profound, and the impact is something I’ll carry with me for a long time.

If there’s one thing I’ve taken away, it’s that growth happens when we’re willing to dive deep, confront the uncomfortable, and embrace change. August was a month of breakthroughs, and I’m stepping into September with renewed energy and a clearer vision.

Self-Pity

When things don’t go our way or we feel unrecognized for our efforts, it’s easy to slip into self-pity. But the danger with self-pity is that it can blind us to the bigger picture, making it hard to appreciate the present moment and the joy in everyday life. It drains our energy, leaving us stuck and unable to move forward.

Recognizing this trap is the first step toward breaking free and embracing the good that life has to offer.

Excuses are comfort zones disguised as reasons. They hold us back from reaching our potential, keeping us stuck where it’s safe but unfulfilled. Instead of saying, “I don’t have time” or “I’m not ready,” start saying, “I’ll make time” and “I’ll learn as I go.” Growth happens when we push beyond our excuses and take that first step—no matter how small it is.

Remember: Progress is better than perfection. Don’t let excuses be the barrier between you and your goals.
