Photon Glow

Hello. Thank you for visiting my page. My name is James McGhee.

Since as long ago as I can remember, and probably a bit longer than that, I have always been fascinated by the storytelling process. Before we had writing, we had words, and possibly before that we had pictures, we used images and words to tell future humans what we had experienced. If I had several lives to lead, I would like to tell stories in every way possible. Since I’m stuck with just the one, like the rest of humanity, I’ve had to decide to narrow things down a little.

I chose photography (well since I couldn’t make my mind up fully, I also chose video (perhaps a subtle way to sneak in a second life (I’ll let you know if it worked out in a decade or so)). Perhaps when you all begin to bring business my way, I’ll have to make a final decision, but for now I’ll remain with both.

I was lucky enough to be able to set up a studio and equip it with professional lighting and cameras. I was doubly lucky to be able to extend the capabilities to professional video and audio equipment. I would truly love to have the opportunity to use this equipment to help others tell their stories. You can help me with this process as much as I can help you.
